How much different would this process be for a tissue culture of a GMOed plant? For example, you engineer a plasmid and put it in agrobacteria to transfer into a plant. How would you collect that tissue culture and use antibiotics for selection? Would it have to be a smaller tissue sample?

After you make your media, you put your selection pathogens which will kill all cells that don't have your antibiotic genes knocked into the cell. So you should specify what antibiotic you want as selection marker, then include that a direct opposite into your media, then grow your cells into it. Plants that grow and thrive in presence of the pathogens shows possession of your antibiotic gene. Allahu aalam, that's my little knowledge. Some guys will make it clear I know, let's wait for their contributions.
