Phanteks Evolv Shift XT vs Fractal Design Torrent Nano - Specification Showdown

These are two wildly different cases, but that doesn't stop us from drawing comparisons, and we can always account for case volume which makes them somewhat more comparable. Thanks very much. The Torrent Compact review will be coming out in about 7 days. There have been delays due to the fans not working correctly. I've just received new fans, so I'll see what I can do about getting the testing started and finished, and get the rest of the video done in the next week or so.

Phanteks p200a would be the best competitor to fractal nano. Cheaper and plenty roomy for an itx case.

One advice: don't try to be Gamers Nexus ... those guys are always way too late on the party with their reviews of CPU Coolers. 3 years before they reviewed the Arctic Freezer 34 eSport Duo, 2 & half for the Fuma 2 & Ninja 5 and as far I can see, they will be late again for the Noctua NH-U12A Chromax Black (released on October 12th 2021), the Deepcool AS500 & AS500 Plus (Cooler that trade blows with the Noctua NH-D15 at only 75 Euro's and released on February 9th 2021) and so on. A reviewer does reviews as soon as possible ... a reviewer doesn't brags around about his lab, because when he doesn't review anything, his lab is useless.

I think you're being a little harsh on GN. It's not like they're not making useful videos regularly. And while they are doing a lot of videos on their upcoming review process, it's more likely a means to an end since they're spending so much time developing their process, they need something to fill the void in video production. I don't really watch a lot of GN since I spend so much time making videos about cases and coolers, I don't really want to watch them (equal parts lack of interest and avoiding watching videos about products I may cover myself). But I'd rather see a great job done rarely, than an okay job done regularly. As long as what they're doing is useful to us, and works for them, it's fine. It's always good to remember "You can't please all of the people, all of the time. But you can please all of the people, some of the time. Or please some of the people, all of the time". Everyone falls into the latter two categories, it's just the nature of... people.

@@AVTechy Sorry, harsh? I can't go mild to somebody that stole an idea from another review magazine/site and claims then that he is the only one that came with that idea (aka typical American attitude).

I'm really not sure what that's all referring to. GN does good work, if a little late. I'm not trying to be them, but I respect the work they do, even if it's late. I'd love to do what they do (in my own way), but at release, but frankly that's not exactly an option for me most of the time, so I'm stuck with just trying to review things as thoroughly as possible, which for all intents and purposes could be compared to the way GN's process. I'm not sure what the stealing comment is about. Inspiration is present, but there's no theft happening, at least not here.
