Phantogram is the most underrated group in the last 20 years. For this 69 year old married man I feel Phantogram has been a superstar group for the last 12 years. I saddens me I will be 2 weeks too early to attend the Nov 2nd,2022 performance in Las Vegas. I can only hope somebody out there will attend the show and tape it for you tube. It's the way the samples are used, they took the song "Yes I'm Ready" by Barbara Mason (1965), and the selected a handful of samples from it, and they reengineered them, edited them, and added counterpoint to one of them, and they then used these samples to paint their song. All of the violin parts are samples, as are the backing vocals. I think this is the best use of samples I have ever heard! I also love the Mini Moog!

Saw one of the directors/producers behind the video during a convention in Manila, Joshua Davis, who was also behind those really cool graphics. It was really interesting to learn how he was able to come up with the concept of the video and, apparently, their album art as well.
