Very expressive! I was transported to memories of listening to the male lead role and performance at LA's Dorothea Chandler theatre. My son was a toddler -- he's now 36 years old.

Hey! Just wanted to say I started playing piano now (19 years old) and just read in an old comment that you started at 16! You are truly an inspiration, hope I will play as good as you one day

Thank you so much for the comment! You truly inspire me to redouble my efforts as well, I've barely played at all the last few years!! Gotta get back on it. Thanks again!

I was just having a go at an arrangement of this just now. Much prefer your arrangement here! Isn’t that always the way 😂 Musicians version of ‘grass is always greener’. Thanks for sharing 😊👍

I too have experienced this. I believe this arrangement comes from the original sheet music book. Here is a link, I found it on another KZbin video. I played it note for note except I played an extra repeat and segued into the finale a little bit differently than what is written. tinyurl.com/yxz5cuos Thanks for stopping by! :)

This is a Kawai VPC1. I had a Yamaha P-155 in my older videos though.

I was wondering if anyone knows of a keyboard less expensive than this one that can still sound like a piano. I know the Kawai VPC1 is the best but it’s almost $2,000
@AnotherSchmoe3 жыл бұрын
Hi, the VPC-1 actually has no onboard sound whatsoever. I use a program called Pianoteq for the audio which you can use with any keyboard. The VPC-1 has a better-than-average keyboard action but that's about it.

One more thing I'd like to add. You don't seem to have any highlights, notes or markings on your sheet music . . . you must be an unbelievable Sight Reader :O
@AnotherSchmoe4 жыл бұрын
I wrote in fingerings, I don't struggle to identify the notes but I'm not much of a sight reader, hehe. This was about 80% memorized and I was using the sheet music as a guide. Thanks for the comment!
