i believe it is the way the original boss OSH was intended to be killed like this, slowly and progresivelly by all guild members, but players found hero combinations and tactics to kill the 160boss multiple times... or the best hero setup and tactics is yet to be discovered

If you don't have a lot of heroes levelled up you can at least make a decent attempt with Juh, Nebula, Sebastian & Martha +Albus (i added Mojo for magic damage and healing but that seemed to be a dud) which gave just under 15 million against the starting boss. I'm sure you'll need some of these heroes when the meta team is found but for now if your guild needs to grind out a bit more damage it's worth considering if you haven't got a wide choice of high powered heroes

I find nebula make good damage with some hereos. it can be part of new meta.

YOu have put many heroes that have no synergy as you put in Polaris as she increases magic damage greatly but your attackers are pure damage dealers... so the key is to get perfect combo as I see that magic damage will be crucial... so pet like MErlin who can increase it by 100%(plus buff +25%).. heroes like Polaris who can put another 140%... rest of them should be studied but if morrigan or mushy could block the Horn with their skeletons or copies so that the whole team stays spared, it would be great.

i tested Astrid&Lucas and Elmir. They can't block boss skill for pet/illusions.

Interesting results (thanks for sharing). We now have a framework for teams that protect too much, and teams that attack too much. We should be able to find the ideal heroes. If the healing and amors are sufficient, normally dispelling the Horn will be not necessary. I also wonder if Orion can do massive damage on Maestro as he does on Osh, spamming his missiles without being stuned. Let's try another Magic Team - Axel - Alvanor(Oliver) for the Grove Keeper bonus - Celeste(Axel) - Heidi(Albus) - Orion(Merlin) & another version with Lilith(Merlin) to check if there is a change - Thea(Mara)

why Thea and not Martha who can increase velocity of all the team ?

Merlin is bad for orion. It is whole big video about it to do, mb later. I make lof of fights with Osh and Orion. All with merlin pet was bad. your team make with same buffs as in video - 10mil. With lilith it is 14 mil. And if replace Merlin as main pet it is ~12.5 mil. So Axel pet make some positive effect, mb vs stun coz it takes damage from low heroes and make it to full heroes and Thea can make then more healing.

I will try Aurora Celeste Orion Polaris Thea with Merlin as team pet...Aurora is the best magic dealer, Celeste is the only hero that can doble click on auto and give 100k magic damage bonus and heal in material phase and make damage in astral phase, Orin is also great MD dealer and gives a lot of MP, Polaris should boost that damage by another 140% and stun opponent and theas is a great healer and magic defense ulter, she also makes silence... merlin should be a killer with 125% MD bonus

I was thinking something like this but with Mojo (I think Orion is better but mine is weak). I thought Martha instead of Thea as healer cause she can speed up the team.

This is nice solution. i also think same about it. Merlin with this team works better, like around 8.5 mil. Axel make just 7.5mil with same setup. But it isn't best team(

@@dedaherowars The stuff GloZOsiris said seems right, Thea first talent can be activated manually to annilhate the stun, Martha canno't. Furthermore, this boss can make area damage, not that good for the tea pot.

we are all thinking about astral phase and making damage there... but what if previous meta team for OSH or some variation of it could work at the start of material phase? It's says that Maestro's defense has gradual increase... so maybe Corny can make a punch right after shifting from astral to material form?

so if back healer would be thea instead of Martha... in astral phase she could remove stuns from first 3 heroes coz she can both heal and silence... Isaac would then get supercharged coz of constant magic damage from the boss and then manual transition to material phase while armor on Maestro is still lower value... and boooom... Corny gets a crit hit.

I wonder if this is all in futility and the real key will be some new Hero released later this year. Even with 1000 points to put into buffs and everyone buying the weekly golden ticket, I wonder if the damages will still be too low to beat a boss with 860million health. Which gets me wonder if the real key might be some upcoming hero in the next 6 months that will be part of a new meta to beat this new boss. Nexters needs to make their money and needs the community to keep buying heroes.

I think so too. Charly from Hero Wars Central also said there will be a new hero and a new pet. You probably need both.

Yes, it should be this way. It is simply commercial solution. Make a hard boss witch nobody can kill and then make a hero for money who will be good vs this boss. And most players then will pay for it. Knowing the developers of Nexters - this is exactly in their style.

Have you tried something using Peppy ? Maybe she can do great within an efficient magic team (using Mushy apparently ?).

The goal in this fight is to spend as long as possible in the Astral Form and only switch to the Material Form when you need to heal up due to the continuously more powerful healing debuff in the Astral Form. That is clearly not going to happen if you have the fight set to auto. The fight will require you to learn to play manually to do any decent damage.

you won't be able to take plag to Asgard boss. First team make ~9 mil vs 160 level and second ~9.5 mill. All was safe and noone die. So can make some more damage if put put 1 healing hero i think. The last one is not better, ~8.5 mil. Also noone died. good luck in your real fights tomorrow!

Основные дамагеры Хайди/Майя бьют чистым уроном, так что особой разницы в дамаге и не должно быть. Разница должна быть только в физ/маг паках, где дамаг сильно зависит от пробива/защиты босса.

Я тоже так думал. Но при этом Майя оказалась хуже, чем Джулиус с одинаковыми остальными героями. Важен еще эффект контроля и лечения для работы с дебафами босса.

no, it is a fake. Some heroes skills doesn't work for asgard bosses. Like also Vex pet doesn't work vs Osh.

Some heroes need to be hit to do maximum damage. Maya for example, she performs better as a tank!

Does morrigan's skeletons or mushy's copies take horns stuns instead of heroes?

I tryed Elmir and Astrid&Lucas. They don't work and can't get stuns. Didn't try morrigan, but seems it will not work. In game all heroes got own ID number and boss skill can focus only for this ID. Also any next hero they can make with immune to this spell. It will be good promotion and usefull hero then, like it was with Lara. I will discuss this option with the developer team.
