Fantastic video I used to watch F4 flight ops at Wattisham until sadly retired & seeing once beautiful Phantoms waiting to be scrapped on the fire dump but luckily there is a beautifully restored FGR2 which was the display F4 kept in a HAS at Wattisham

Pity they got their information wrong, the F-111 was not rejected, in fact the Labour Government put a £50,000,000 down payment on 50 F-111K’s for the RAF, the order was then cancelled, I don’t know if the U.K. got its down payment back.
