@@sloth3066 Honestly I'm bothered by the fact that nobody thinks that there could be another continent besides DC, imagine DC as Asia, Europe, Africa all of that combined surrounding a Lake, but there is South and North America beyond that, maybe Togashi will hit us with another continent

@@honorofthesamurai nice thinking but I think this is almost a fact. The dark continent is just another word for the new/unknown world. It would be pretty weird if the rest of the world is just one big landmass. And just to remind everyone: it’s called ”lake“ mobius, so you can imagine what an ocean would be over there… But what I’ve been thinking about is how they use satellites. It would take them days or maybe weeks to orbit the earth xD

that's the issue with the 2011. for some reason, the director thought it was a good idea to make it appear as comical and kiddy for the first 2 arcs. well, the manga and the 1999 version aren't.

@@SILENTSORA-cw9mj you mean the continuation of the anime? hard to say tbh. The Dark Continent Expedition arc started in the manga some months after the anime reboot's first broadcast, in 2012. Its been 11 years since, and we've only got 60 chapters so far. With Togashi's health as it is now and the numerous hiatuses, together with his pride preventing him from letting other people take over the creation of his manga, id say we're gonna wait a very long time before seeing another hxh anime project. so don't hold your breath for this one.

try rewatching in a year or so. if it still doesn't appeal to you, maybe try the manga. if nothing does it, then maybe its just not for you. im curious to know what you like though. care to share?
