The Bad Ending really is heartbreaking… Together with BF, we ended Senpai/Spirit’s suffering, but the guilt of what the Corruption had him do in the past combined with the fact he himself just had to put someone down because of his past actions completely breaks BF into thinking he’s an irredeemable monster. And so he allows the Corruption to take him again, consumed by his guilt and embracing the monster he thinks he is… And in THAT state of mind I’m not sure if even his Soul can do anything to save him…

The end text was a little confusing since I thought it was the Harvester speaking to BF, but this makes more sense. "You haven't slept in a while" and "That takes a toll on one's body" proves that this is the corruption speaking.

@djblueu7608 I thought so too at first, then I realised the Bad Ending text we saw was signifying what we were about to witness rather than being an end screen. Plus the end credits song we heard this time is credited as the bad ending’s theme. In the real ending, though Harvester sliced BF up, they seemed to be gathering and maybe even sewing his body parts back together as they departed. Whatever’s going on, something’s changed and it now seems that they need BF alive.

18:26 This bit here caught me so off-guard during the premiere, I genuinely didn't expect the alternate ending to be THAT brutal. Although, I kinda want to theorize a bit on the bad ending and what events could've been different, since we're now dealing with an official alternate ending in Corruption. It's very likely that the events _did_ play out the exact same as we all know, and the outcome only branches off from the main one at the end of Access Denied. BF having the same exact clothes and bandage seems to back up that claim. I do want to take a look at the red text just after that scene though. What surprises me is that the corruption is actually _impressed_ by BF's actions, even doubting its own previous thoughts about him. The corruption let alone acknowledging BF directly after so long is crazy, something that I don't think has been done since Discharge. Yet as always, it encourages BF to take a 'rest', because obviously, BF is still at large and not under their control. The text 'Perhaps that jester was not needed after all' not only gives our confirmation that the Harvester works with the corruption, but it also gives a bit of insight as to what the corruption's plans were. It can be interpreted in two ways: Either its referring to how they now don't need the Harvester to slice BF up, as he has sorta finished the job himself in some way; or, BF somehow took the Harvester's role in this scenario as a Harvester himself, but this doesn't seem all too plausible. Anyways, I hope we get more of these alternate endings for certain weeks, they serve as a very cool way to tell us "this is what could've happened".

Here's a theory of my own, what if bf wasn't killed, but instead kidnapped by the harvester. Ik ik, it sounds insane because bf was obviously cut up into pieces, but what if he only did that to be able to actually capture him? It would suck ngl if he was actually killed and that's how bfs story ends so it now follows pico or something. But hey, this is all just a theory, gotta wait for the next vid to release which I'm ready to wait for

There is literally no hope in this ending… Pico has possibly been killed by the Harvester, Girlfriend is trapped in Mommy Mearest’s illusion and Boyfriend has lost his mind after killing Null. What makes this even worse is that BF saw what he did to the game while he was corrupted, and deleting Null probably brought back trauma for Boyfriend.

Anyone notice from 10:21 where all the fancy effects and stuff start, it stops snowing? You can also see the snow effect doesn't actually return for the rest of the song which shows that GF was under an illusion from basically the START and that's an awesome detail So the snow does reappear at 11:49 and like 12:49 which are segments with gf looking depressed and idle showing that it was just all in her head from the start and she's actually just standing there

Didn't have much time to play FNF mods anymore but this series is the only thing I kept paying attention to and waiting for an update every now and then. I was drawn up to this Corruption series since that amazing song at EVIL Boyfriend vs BF Escape video. And I still stay because of the world-building, the lore, the songs, the arts, the animations, the quality that kept increasing over each video, and especially the effort put into this. Every time I thought this might be a peak, the next video just proved me wrong, and the waiting between each vids had always been worthwhile. This one is no exception. The addition of an Opening makes this look more like an Anime episode. And that Bad Ending is the most unexpected part. When I clicked on the title, I only expected to see a video that combined every part of the Week like usual. So the appearance of a Bad Ending is totally what blew my mind. Not to mention the dark, depressing, and scary credit, you can even call that an Ending.

I like how in the 3rd NULL song in the mid song dialog BF seemingly forgot what hes done (this is what i got from the dialog) And Null Teleports him in a realm in front of the now fixed TV before Null was corrupted, seemingly showing what BF did to Null while BF was corrupted making him remember what hes done to Null and his world. this may not be accurate but its still interesting to think nonetheless

I don’t think anyone’s pointed out, maybe it’s a bit of an animation mistake, but I feel like it’s important to note that Boyfriend’s bandages got bigger when he got out of the TV in the bad ending, which could imply that the corruption could already be getting bigger with decisions that leads to the pathway of this bad ending.
