Phapano, you articulate your views very well, thank you. But I invite you to revisit your thinking about political accountability. This political system does not allow ordinary people as voters to hold political parties to account. Even parliament cannot hold the ANC or any dominant party to account because MPs represent political parties, not voters. As long as the ANC is dominant in parliament, forget about holding them to account. Even if we have a coalition, there is nothing in the system to ensure accountability to protect society. The entire system is built from the ground up for oligarchs, cartels, and monopolies to thrive by sponsoring these political parties.

That's wealth of political struggle and SA history knowledge. Fantastic critical thinking. Most of us need to learn. This interview needs to be shared and watched by all Black people of South Africa. Those who want to label MK party tribalism are wrong because members are from all tribal groups. Zulus are a majority in KZN but they are not all members of MK. The fact that Zuma is from Zulu tribe doesn't mean he formed MK party for Zulu people only. Mandela, Mbheki and Ramapohosa are ANC party Zulu people supported ANC and did not label ANC as Xhosa Party. Those who have this mindset are trying to divide us and they are tribalits.

Very insightful debate, My question is WHERE did the Loadsheding disappear to, how did they manage to have so much electricity without any announcements of what happened???OR is it coming back right after National Elections. These are the kinds of questions we should be talking about before Elections!!!!
Its obvious there is an election coming that is why suddenly we have no load-shedding, also keep in mind Ramaphosa approved three controversial laws just before the election, so obvious this is to try and regain lost support.

A very necessary conversation that should also be had in each Black South Afrikan home. I am especially intrigued by the lack of Black Referendum, what some of us call the Black Agenda. Ironically she quotes the Architects of Poverty, which is both illuminating while paradoxically recommending neo-liberalism as a solution. Siyabonga Ngengxoxo enzulu.
