Miss Phasha, u got it all wrong with Chinese investments n intentions, they are Ruthless savages. Their business dealings are not ethical @ all n want it all back to n for themselves. We have unfortunately change Masters from West to East, while we need none anymore. China has already colonised more than 50% of Motherland Afrika, they are Rascists n Supremacists n PR stunts kingpins of high degree to ALL AFRIKANS disguised as friendship n investments/help, yet they are Hungrier for power anyone b4.😢😢

I don't think so. She uses impassioned speech but her facts seem biased towards a sort of communistic idiology. There is a refusal to accept how things work, eg, she says "China doesn't owe us anything" - this cannot be justification for China to simply be allowed to do the same thing the West did to Africa.
@blacksands93
@blacksands93 23 күн бұрын
@@mongezimangena3496 she raises good points but non of them have much depth to it. Simple facts 1. Still has more poverty than SA 2. SA’s average salary is 2x more than India 3. Let’s be honest, we have more people escaping Pakistan and India to live and work in SA. On China 1. Pen was right China exploits its own people comparing SA to China is like comparing Lesotho to South Africa. They had 1.5ish billion people during their industrial boom and they exploited so many of those people to get where they are. Essentially inslaving their own people working 1 USD a day. 2. 600000 people die annually in China from over exhaustion working long hours. In SA we complain about minimum wage. Mentality wise we are not like Chinese and we don’t hold their work ethic.

You tale 1000 youths or more and send them to china or elsewhere where there's higher education in technology, you bring them back to open technological businesses, that's a big start. I agree with you both. For starters India still has millions in poverty. In fact the average salaries in SA are 2x more than that of India. Using them as a benchmark is not convincing anyone. Secondly, their numbers make India an extremely competitive market. All India families are very hard on their children to excel in their studies. Hence why those with enough drive will leave Indian and succeed in the US or Uk. This is the same for Nigerians. Nigerians are 4th richest national group in the US. 1 are Indians followed by your Persians and believe it or not whites are 5th. Long story short, South Africans fail the moment a child is born. We blame politicians and we blame imperialism but we don’t look at ourselves and realise that we fail our children and do not push them enough to excel. Hence why we can never be like China or any country mentioned. Mentality comes first.

Great show Penuel! I'm glad you brought up the part about their being educated Xhosas. Although, its not just educated Xhosas. Contrary to the story the mainstream media and whites regurgitate, there are highly skilled and educated Black/Coloured South Africans and they too are highly coveted outside of the South Africa. Sometimes more than the Nigerian and the Indian because of their command of the English language. South Africans must not fall into the trap that they are unskilled and that is why Africans from Nigeria, Zim and other foreigners must be allowed here. ISouth Africans deserve the low, middle, and high skilled jobs first. Not opening the flood gates to workers just because they are African.

The conversation was enriching, with the lady offering some great points and insightful knowledge. However, it is unfortunate that she downplays the frustrations felt by many South Africans. This tendency to minimize or overlook such frustrations is part of the reason many problems in our country and across the African continent remain unsolved. Addressing these frustrations openly and empathetically is crucial for finding effective solutions and fostering real progress.

I like the fact that Penuel asked about whether should China and India be used as a model for Africa… unfortunately we tend to disregard “inferiority complex” as a people. I hope on the next episode, Penuel could ask her to point out on the solutions to all the problems that she’s raised. Nonetheless, beautiful episode

1:33:34 definitely not enough. Caught it halfway but this has been your best episode to date🙌🏾 I now have to go watch this from start. Love how you brainstorm with Sis’ Phapano… between the lines is where the solutions will begin to coalesce. I believe it’s conversation like these that will see us come closer as Afrika eventually so we move in tandem, as a singular block with our people’s interests at the forefront. And l will highlight it again… this continent provides 50% of the world’s raw material needs. If we were more conscious of that one fact… all else COULD be guided around that. “The war is over, if we want it” - Yoko Ono

But really we need solutions on next session. What about using the same whites in SA to develop our country but now fight for genuine equality i.e. land distribution, being the producers, having access to markets not red tapes. My reason is that us as blacks we always fight for smallanyana skeleton and loose the bigger picture. Big up Mkhaya ntwana yase location eMadadeni.
