​@@bonkuwu3584unrelated but this reminds me of how I was popping off (ish) as Cass in this low gold game, but after getting a big ult I played respawn simulator. The ememy DPS went Hanzo/Genji so after considering the hero pool I picked echo, but I didn't because my other DPS stole her, so I had to go Pharah (I don't even play her lmfao) it was a chaotic game, but the enemy dps ended with 33 kills and 23 deaths like damn 😭

@@retrorevival1 Sure, but you can still make great use of high ground. As a pharaoh main I think they spent too much time on the floor. Like first point for example has great high ground, yet they barely sat on it for 5 seconds total. Some of the other point aren't so great so their it's more understandable.

DPS passive makes mercy pocket less useful as well. I would rather be more dynamic and calculated, looking for moments of explosivity than fly high and spam from a distant. so boring.

1) LOS using structures/building. Let them focus your tank not you. 2) learn to use concussive for movement. Concussive shots were used unnecessarily too many times. 3) Aim your shots. Take time to aim. 4) DVA, Soldier, Sombra, Moira on opposing team. You or Zen better off swapping. Lucio + Sombra + Moira going to eat your Zen alive.

I mainly play Pharah and am in Diamond 1 on DPS - so obviously not Emongg level, but out of Gold. There are three things I noticed. 1. Soldier & DVA against Pharah is a tough match - After the first point Genji swapped to Soldier to deal with you, then DVA started really honing in on you after you helped win second point, that’s when things turned. This isn’t a deal breaker for continuing to play Pharah, you don’t always have to switch if you are being countered and focused, but I would say do a heat check and if you aren’t able to roll the Soldier early, or if your team isn’t coordinating well with you, you may have to switch to get more value. 2. Target Priority - if you are going to play into Soldier you need to take him out, otherwise you are going to have to play much safer, for the most part you were focusing on DVA and your impact was limited in the second two fights. Shoot the tank until they fall over only works if everyone is doing it, your team was very scattered. I would say priority #1 as Pharah here for you should have been taking out Soldier. DVA and Sombra have lower damage outputs and it really could have turned the team fights for you. 3. Their Soldier and Moira were playing together quite a bit which makes it even harder for you to get value. For the most part you were just jumping from fight to fight avoiding them, sometimes when I see other people playing as a duo - I pick a person to team up with and just focus whoever they are focusing. Better yet - ask someone to go on the Soldier with you.

As a high level phara player this is great advice. #1 is always target priority “Who can kill the phara the fastest and easiest” that is your #1 target then make a list of the next. Always keep tabs on those hero’s. Another thing you need to use concussion FOR Movement AND to confirm 2 shot combos it will do 60 dmg on a direct impact and always do 30 even if it’s not a direct. 1 rocket with a follow up rocket concussion can be used to take out your biggest threats. Another thing playing into hitscan is not as bad as you think you can pre fire them. Remember they HAVE TO walk around or into an angle to see you use that to your advantage. STOP BEING A FLORA YOU CAN FLY FOR A REASON HAVING TO LOOK UP AT A PHARA WHILE GETTING SHOT BELOW IS ALOT MORE EFFECTIVE

4k Pharah. Great analysis. The whole match felt off, like her team just wasn't doing enough dmg, and the spam/miss a lot factor was def there. It made things a lot harder. I know Pharahs ping pong ball movement is a ton of fun, but don't sacrifice value for fun. Get your fun FROM the value. In other words: Slow down, and move from line to line with grace, like a ballerina in the clouds. With missles.

I'm sorry, but I think even in Gold you should at least know rocket-conc combos now that conc does damage. It's so easy to assassinate people with this. I didn't see anywhere near enough conc usage. Also, seeing people in Chat complain that she's playing ground-Pharah. Are people not aware of the Pharah re-work? sky-box Pharah doesn't exist anymore, you can't perma fly. You have to spend time on the ground and adjust your playstyle, be more calculated, look for assassination opportunities, flanks, surprises etc.

They kept getting heavily bursted down or killed by the soldier, yet never made the soldier a priority to kill. In fact when i looked more carefully, no one was a target priority. They just shot in the general direction of people and very rarely actually focused and shot down one person except from when only one person was on their screen.

They changed conc blast to do melee damage so now it’s a good damage combo especially if you land a direct with your rocket. Not saying conc blast is no longer useful for movement but that that you will see it for damage combos more often.

honestly conc for movement isn't even preferred anymore, not now that it does damage to enemies. rocket-conc combos for assassinations are preferred over using conc for movement. and obviously she has a new movement ability also

Because this guy keeps absolutely ignoring everyone to shot at dva most of the time, even when they are point blank range for example the Moira right in front of the phara in first point completely disregarded to shot at dva, conc blast was so miss used pretty much always blasted it at someone instead of using it for horizontal mobility, always dumping ult on top of dva whilst is not the worst a decent player will eat the ult on dva as dm will completely cancel it, they even saved a half hp Lucio who was out of position by using conc on them as dva was charging at the Lucio with boosters
