When E hero Stratos came out I still remember players saying Heroes can't win tournaments but with his best friend D hero Disk Commander the first Consistent Draw engine is born combined it with the semi limed Giant Trunade and Reinforcement of the Army and Limited premature burial and unlimited foolish and card of safe return so if you think drawing 5 cards with with pot of greed is broken how about now about activating e call or rota searching Stratos normal summoning it to search Disk Commander then drawing 2 with d draw then activate 3 Card of safe return then activate Premature Burial to summon Disk Commander it's effect will activate draw 2 cards and the 3Card of Safe Return activate Drawing 3 it's usually guaranteed 2 search plus 5draw but it's always guaranteed that they it will extend to another Destiny Draw and Giant Trunade to use the Disc Commander Premature Safe Return loop again this is the combo that got Premature and Giant Trunade banned by the way you cannot do the combo in modern Yu-Gi-Oh since Disc Commander got Errata 😉

I feel like because Jays deck played twin headed thunder dragon it would have been a better idea to grab 2 thunder dragons off of the first one rather than 1 at a time this way it would always be a summonable possibility

Yeah I was about to comment that. The reason Rhyme does that is usually because he has multiple chaos monsters he can summon from his deck, so he wants more light monsters in the graveyard. I don't know if Jay has Chaos Sorcerer in his deck as well, because we only see BLS in this video, but if he doesn't only having one thunder dragon in the graveyard is fine. Hindsight is 20/20 anyway.

I've always wondered why not keep both thunder dragons in their hand. It adds protection from random hand drops and also in the case of Jay works with poly. If someone knows more about Yu-Gi-Oh! I'd love to know if there is a good reason not to keep both.

There's actually no reason not to keep both. If you're not playing twin-headed then they're free discard fodder for graceful and other cards.

I wondered about this every time too. I guess if you have both BLS and chaos sorcerer and need both lights in the graveyard? Another reason could be Pot of Avarice? But neither came up this duel, and as you said, Jay could have made twin head in that last duel.

in most cases you want to get light monsters into the graveyard so once you have some dark monsters in there you can banish them to summon monsters like chaos sorcerer or like black luster soldier envoy of the beginning...or even chaos emperor dragon envoy of the end...very powerful cards to be able to drop out of nowhere...but yes in jays case because of the fusion strat he was using it would have been better to add both off of one

I recommend Plants for Edison, Mark of the Rose is like having 3 legal snatch steals and you can actually combo off with Gigaplant, Supervise and Powertool Dragon. Or, you play control with the slept on plant support

one of my most memorable cards and still a personal fav today would be blade armor ninja! I remember thinking to myself as soon as I got it that I was gonna build a ninja deck so I could spam out xyz monsters.......a feat which it was very and I mean VERY effective at...I played the ninja deck against my friends all the time and they were using stuff like inzektor and other decent archetypes and my ninja deck would usually be able to summon 3 xyz monsters in 1 turn...I remember one duel I had where I actually brought out 5 xyz monsters in a single turn...(pre link era btw not even kidding) that deck used to be an absolute terror in my circle..I've since upgraded it to play stuff like saizo and jihou the gravity ninja...and it still does good stuff today
