I always just assumed that Journey to Eternities never came back if it was attached to a token, but after seeing it resolve here and see no one comment on it I decided to look it up. To my surprise, you can indeed bring it back, which I'm really glad to know because I'm currently building a deck with Journey to Eternities in it, and without seeing this I would've just played it with the assumption that it doesn't work with tokens. Thanks alot for the education 😊

Teferi does very little to actually affect him and doesn't have a threatening ult. It basically just hoses Trevor and lets Ryan cast his spells without worrying about counters.

This kruphix deck looks very similar to my Rasputin deck and is absolutely the same concept I adore. I know people are adverse to eldrazi and annihilator, but it should always just be a rule zero conversation and serve as a wake up call to run more removal people

7:55 I might be missing an island, but Mystic Sanctuary says three OTHER islands and you get to put a card back on top only when it enters upntapped.

You're missing an island. Trevor is one of those monsters that mixes full arts and regular bordered lands. The two untapped lands when he plays it are both islands, and the other full art is tapped and to the right of Castle Vantress.

@@dragonfave37 yeah it took me a minute of looking to get it figured out from the distance from the camera. I only knew about the old border island because it's the one he grabbed off cultivate initially. It's really hard to make heads or tails of the board in these games sometimes.

He would have had to pay ten mana on his upkeep. Playing pact again would have invalidated his next turn.

Trevor's last turn has some problems: First when he sacrificed Kozilek he had to shuffle his graveyard in his library because of Kozilek's death trigger. So when he untapped he had only the mana to pay for pact of negation and for a hard cast dig through time (it seems he delved away some cards from the recording). No torrential gearhulk and no krosan grip could have been cast

Hanna is best paired with limited resources, cause good luck getting rid of it in a white blue deck where she can just return it to play over and over. And once it drops, capsize lets you be the only person with lands... then the only person with creatures... then the only person at the table...
