In my book it states that NSAIDS are given for pericarditis but then in the next line says do not give aspirin or anticoagulants because increased risk of cardiac tamponade. I’m just thinking to myself, do NSAIDs not slow down your ability to clot? 😅 Also, you are a god send!! Your videos have helped me so much 💕

Professor D I have a question! For the question about a client diagnosed with pericarditis who says they take an aspirin every morning, why is the answer that they should quit taking aspirin immediately? I thought that one of the main treatments for pericarditis was NSAID's for the inflammation
