UD= Under Directions While working at a Specialty pharmacy there were several DAW codes 0= ok to substitute, 1= MD requires Brand, 2=PT requests brand. There are others but I never saw them used.

I’ve been in Pharmacy for 10 years and I’ve never seen UD as “Under Directions”. Do a quick Google search and you will find your answer. UD is always “As Directed”.

I am always considering pharmacy tech because of the demand. Walgreens and cvs especially continue to post opportunities for techs. now that im into medical billing and coding, I think I want to learn more about this for sure!

It’s a great career path, at least for me it has been. I would suggest now to try and work for a mail order or work from home pharmacy jobs.

Ad lib and lid you could remember by those are opposite meanings and the b is "flipped around" to be a d, so it's "opposite" as ad lib (desired) as in you can't take it as desired only as directed
