I liked this video because there's such an appealing variety of women that are represented. I think it's so cool seeing Asian women in the vid because most videos are very centered on just two groups or one which I think is rather boring... Aside from that, why do people hate on Miley so much? Why don't people ever take the time to evaluate their convictions and responses to things? People have no logical reason for hating her. Most people hate her because she shows a lot of skin and because she displays herself in videos and on stage in ways that are outlandish and for shock value and because she was once Hanna Montana, they're afraid their kids will imitate her. But none of these things are going to cause people to die or anything like that. She's not murdering babies or raping anyone and her behavior isn't encouraging anything in children that's going to lead to them dying or anything like that. If a child is taught to love themselves along with being taught to have good boundaries and sexual self-awareness, that child will be fine. Hiding natural, human tendencies away from them and making them feel ashamed of their bodies and their natural sexual desires, thereby teaching them not to love themselves and even to hate themselves, isn't doing anything good for them and also that's exactly what these people are attempting to do to Miley. But it's good she has a strong enough sense of self to not give in. Also, so what if she shows a lot of skin? When has showing skin truly harmed anyone or caused mass genocide or totalitarian dictatorships to arise or anything like that. Basically, people hate her because of illogical puritanical beliefs, misguided feminism (you're still trying to control her free agency as a woman through slut-shamming, don't be hypocrites) and mob mentality. Everyone else is on the Miley shamming wagon so let me get on it, too. It's pathetic. You know who's really causing the most harm to others and to society as a whole, in the end? These people. These are the types of things that lead to women committing suicide along with leading to a more sexually repressed and sexually paranoid society which causes more pathological behavior to develop in people like wanting to rape women and molest children along with suppressing innate homosexual tendencies which can lead to more people killing themselves. Their blood is on your hands.

Angela Szerencses I understand what you're saying but besides the fact that her personal choices don't have anything to do with you or any of these other people and she's a total stranger, what's the point in HATING her for those reasons? It's just ridiculous to call her a bunch of derogatory names like "slut" and "whore" and if anyone is doing that, it would have to be because of the way in which she's displaying her sexuality and that people are actually offended by that. But as I already said, she isn't truly hurting anyone and people's enraged dismay over it is uncalled for and illogical. Also, this whole excuse about her harming the children through her example is lame. No one's ever died from seeing skin or even sex for that matter. I was exposed to Madonna at an early age and didn't end up sleeping with a billion men or anything like that (though if women want to do that, it's their prerogative). Plus, what do people expect to accomplish by doing this? They're not helping her by doing this, if that's their intention. Any truly mature and balanced person would know that people change when they want to and are ready too. No amount of name calling is going to accomplish that. It's one thing when kids do this...quite another when _grown_ ass adults and "feminists" do it, too. Just fucking nuts, I tell you. Really fucking nuts.

***** I was thinking the same thing, in regards to having plus sized dancers... I do think that all of these women, here, are very beautiful and not every woman will feel represented because of maybe being more average looking but I think this is a wonderful start. As far as your comment on Miley, I think that even saying a simple comment like that you think she looks silly here, encourages people who are very nasty and misogynistic towards her to feel more justified in their actions. I wish that people who say that they don't like her for other reasons than ones related to how she expresses her sexuality, would quantify their words by still making it clear that they don't condone slut-shamming or calling women "sluts" and "whores" or hating them just because of how they choose to express their sexuality. She may or may not look silly here, but I can't hate someone just because of that. That would be illogical.
