This album is criminally underrated. One of the best albums of the 10s.
@fredrydmusic12 жыл бұрын
Definitely underrated. Pharrell was actually the artist who motivated me to be a feminist-like guy to express how girls and women are important and they're very unique with this song and the album which I worked myself so long to be even within music. It's the right side for me as it is for him. Even Zara Larsson, Kesha, Beyoncé and Little Mix motivated me for it.

So there was many girls they could chosed between and they chosed the girls who fits best in this patriarkhed world if you understand what I mean. They dissed the fat dancers. In USA you specialy have a lot of overweight people... true ? But you also have more fatshaming so a fat person maybee dont dare to show up in a dance studio..... hahah i dont know And Are they filming Pharells as? No because he's a man. For anyone who can't understand the song... Pharrell is declaring that although there are many popular sexy women of the past (like Marilyn Monroe) who have set a standard of beauty in their respective era's...he wants a different girl. He wants what might not be the typical beauty "GIRL" on a magazine but is way better and more appealing/sexy to him. It's awesome.
@chaoticneutralsheep10 жыл бұрын
I'm not seeing much of the different kinds of beauty in this video at all. Last time I checked women aren't like different friggen brands that you can pick and chose from. It's not like 'magazine girls' exist anyway but all the pretty girls are lined up, I think the message would make itself clearer if there no male gaze either, geez.

Emmmm one thing, since I see television so focused and interested in popularizing dyes of the most overrated hair color that I have taken to the jeta (the blonde one): Why don't you premiere any documentary (in whatever channel, no I care) in which they review the statistics that show the immense number of brunette and red-haired women who have ended up being a couple of impressively attractive men compared to the relatively small number of blondes who are a couple of attractive men? For example (and with this I will not have any rival argument that refutes mine: Angelina Jolie was the wife for a long time of the undisputed Hollywood handsome man known as Brad Pitt (who also played Akiles, son of the goddess Aphrodite which indicates who inherited his incomparable beauty and that's why they chose Brad Pitt) and the redhead Amy Adams dated Henry Cavill (the current Superman) for 4 years, which indicates that the actor is another magnificent representation of masculine perfection: super tall, super strong, super handsome ... I am not gay but I objectively recognize the symmetrical patterns considered beautiful in men), that Henry Cavill in addition to being his co-star (because Adams plays Lois Lane) was also his partner for 4 years. The people who come here defending that blonde is the most sensual hair color (which I disagree, but anyway) without having a fucking idea that blonde can't give you everything, they just don't have a say, that ideal that you defend are nothing more than mere stereotypes: Do you really believe that hoax that a blonde is more fun? Lie! Hair color has nothing to do with your personality. Why is Marilyn Monroe better than a brunette or a redhead? Why? Because her boobs were fake (plastic boobs) and her hair color was more fake than your high school graduates? Because if those are the reasons, then you leave much to be desired regarding your standards of authentic beauty. Finally, blondes, a group that says that shit that brunettes and redheads are envious of you, because I simply say: MUTUAL FEELING, read what I have textualized of Angelina with Brad and Amy with Henry and you will know what the feeling is about reciprocal. And let no one tell me the typical defense of: "Marilyn fucked Elvis, the king of rock n roll" because, while it is true that Elvis was quite attractive with his pelvic movements (and I respect him as an undisputed legend of the music), but BRAD PITT is BRAD PITT: the human representation of Achilles (the Greek hero who gave a name to a part of the body: the Achilles Heel), and Achilles was the son of the goddess of beauty Aphrodite in Greek mythology, with which indicates that he inherited the incomparable beauty of his mother and all this leads us to the conclusion that he is more attractive than Elvis, and Brad was with Angelina Jolie for a long time.

Pharrell Williams will be remembered as the stand alone artist of our time. In an environment full of "clone music", especially during that particular era, he was never unoriginal or " bland". When I think genuine artist, Pharrell comes to the forefront of my mind. Incredible.
@jt2506productions9 жыл бұрын
I don't think Pharrell was trying to objectify women, I think he was trying to express how men get hated on for liking certain physic features on women. I mean it's what we are scientifically attracted too. Just like how some women like abs. There is nothing wrong in finding physical attraction to someone. The problem comes when the standard is set too high and men think that they need a women with big boobs and that is all that they should look for in a women. Pharrell is saying men should be allowed to be attracted to physical features, but shouldn't just be basing their desires on cookie cutter skinny photoshopped models. And instead find joy in all kinds of people. Like their personality, intellect, hobbies, etc

When I love what I've described But then again, I don't need no adjectives for this girl # [Bridge:] What's wrong with that? What's wrong with that? Yeah What's wrong with that? [Interlude - Kelly Osbourne:] In honor of the groove and to all who's surrendered to it We say thank you, and we take it back # Wished so hard, I wished so hard that it came true Then my lucky star, I guess you came from behind the moon I put my arms around her, and I promise not to abuse you Since now I found you, why the hell would I want to lose you? if you love lyrics, you should watch # goo.gl/ozGMGC # goo.gl/nTDYrI

The song is okay, but the video is awesome. Not even because of the sexiness, but because all of the different kinds of women, not a generic one in the bunch, and all beautiful in their own way.

Hum, no ones fat or a bit "overweight" in this clip, every girl look so pretty and stylish i feel like they all are a part of some socially approved style variety. I mean, no risk taken in this clip, they're polished woman we can see everywhere.

We should learn to be fair to others and protest when others are not being fair to us. We must pray to the loving Lord to bless us with fairness and impartiality in every field of our lives.
