Why is Daft Punk sounds so satisfying? The beat, the bass, the guitar, the robot voice, everything.

God you new Generation don't know anything about Pharrell...this man is a legend. His songs from the 90's to 2001 were hitting platinum a as a rapper. The reason he isn't much known is because he disappeared for awhile and is now coming back with this new music style he does. He changed himself from rapping about sex and drugs and guns and gangs to making positive PG music. I bet you Daft a punk was privileged to have him in their songs and have them on his songs. He's also been in other big hit artists music as well, Not just Daft Punk. He's trying to make himself grow bigger and hell others grow with him. You guys need to show this man more respect because he is the only one doing what he is doing and making more money than other rappers and singers are doing now. He made a song called "Happy", and sang about being happy and won tons of music awards and became his most biggest hit song he has ever made. Like I said before, show this man more respect. I'm only 19 and was born in 1995 and I know this much about him and who he is. PS: I like Daft Punk more then Pharrell so dont tell me he I am a fan off and who I am not like some ppl are in my comments. All though I ended up comparing the two which I never meant to do because thats not what my comment is about...ALL im saying is STOP DISSING Pharrell on EVERY SONG he does with Daft Punk. seriously, you all are being assholes about it on all the songs he did with them. just STFU and enjoy their music

Ummm....Daft Punk wasn't Daft Punk when Pharrell was around kid. They were not even well known at all when Pharrell was around. Do your research before you type stuff like that
@maskorane10 жыл бұрын
Daft Punk started in 1993 in France. They didn't get managed till 1996. Daft Punks first album "Homework" was in 1997. Daft Punk didn't even get serious until 2006 -2007 when they won their first Grammy. Pharrell has won 7 Grammys with only 4 record labels, owns his own media venture, he's a fashion designer, song writer, producer, ect. He has made songs with the most successful artists ever known. Daft Punk only made a song with Kanye West and Deadmau5. Pharrell is making more money than Daft Punk is. Now don't get me wrong I love Daft Punk, but like I said on my previous comment, show Pharrell some respect because he is one of the Legendary well known Artists known out there. There fore. Daft Punk was privileged to have him around. And as much likes as I'm getting on my comment and it's only been up for 2 days know, I'm sure the majority of the people who sees my comment agrees with me.

My heart is filled, with love and care Not an ounce of gas, I would get up there The answer's simple You lift me up The view up here, I see all the stars There go Venus, and there go Mars Somethin' you been through You're from above, hey Hey, when I first saw you, I got excited Tried to keep my composure, tryna hide it But I didn't know I didn't let go Then it occurred to me while tryna fight it Just like a kite, you learn to ride it But I didn't know You're s'posed to let it go Like a gust of wind You hit me off sometimes Like a gust of wind You push me back every once in a while Like a gust of wind You remind me there's someone up there Who ushers in The air I need to power my sail When I open the window I wanna hug you 'Cause you remind me of the air I said yeah 'Cause when I'm feelin' real low I remember I love you I put my hands in the air And you were there With your love, I can board the skies Riding away that electrified mothership other Can I stow away? (can I stow away girl, girl?) Colourful winds of the northern sky Is the closest thing, and here is why 'Cause we're color You blow me away (blow me away girl, girl) I need it like I breathe it Music and colors can make one hover Who cares if they don't see you? Don't you know that they're the same? I need it like I breathe it If you never discover, forever you'll suffer Who cares if they don't see you? You gotta tap in and learn the way Like a gust of wind You hit me off sometimes Like a gust of wind You push me back every once in a while Like a gust of wind You remind me there's someone up there Who ushers in The air I need to power my sail When I open the window I wanna hug you 'Cause you remind me of the air I said yeah 'Cause when I'm feelin' real low I remember I love you I put my hands in the air And you were there When I first saw you, I got excited Tried to keep my composure, tryna hide it But I didn't know I didn't let go Then I realized I'm tryna fight it Just so they can learn to ride it But I didn't know I had to let it go Like a gust of wind You head me off sometimes Like a gust of wind You push me back every once in a while Like a gust of wind You remind me there's someone up there Who ushers in The air I need to power my sail When I open the window I wanna hug you 'Cause you remind me of the air I said yeah 'Cause when I'm feelin' real low I remember I love you I put my hands in the air And you were there

Pharrell is in his early 40s and has had quite a successful career as it is. He was a part of The Neptunes, they produced a lot of tracks that gained notoriety in the 90s and 00s. Per wikipedia "The Neptunes are estimated to have a net worth of $155 million and are considered one of the most successful producers in music history, noted by twenty-four Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hits during the late 1990s and 2000s.[1] In 2009 Billboard ranked The Neptunes No. 1 on their list of Top 10 producers of the decade. Readers of Vibe Magazine named The Neptunes as the 3rd greatest hip-hop producers of all time behind Dr. Dre and DJ Premier.[2]"

@callmeandy01 Жыл бұрын
R.A.M was their goodbye album they put so much heart and soul into that album truly one of a kind. Incredible features on every track. They made their mark with this album. It will never be duplicated combining they’re own sound with disco, funk, pop, electronica.

Pharrell killed his performance on the first verse. He's a legend, I couldn't see anyone else on this song except for him. As a matter of fact, the only person I could see replacing Pharrell is Michael Jackson.

He’s definitely a rare talent in the industry Dude can rap, sing and produce and he’s making hits since the 00’s Pharrell is the only one that can make Happy and at the same time make Drop Like it’s Hot feat Snoop

This song is amazing. I mean, Pharrell's album G I R L is a maserpiece but this song is the most beautiful in it. Love the lyrics, the strings, the voice, and of course, the video. This is what falling in love sounds like.
