great guide once again! i would love a short disc pvp guide too (mostly for talents and runes) since we got dual specc now and disc is also very fun in pvp and worth swapping around between shadow and disc depending on the pvp situation :)

Hey, how important are points into spirit tap as opposed to longer SW:P and shorter mindblast cd?

the torment deck card has been great saved me from melee multiple times watching them wander around while i get a fat mindblast swd combo on em.

Despair accurately summarizes my feelings about priest runes this phase. Just far too crit focused with zero talent synergy or rune support.

@@deanterry123 Despair is a good run... Eye of the void is what bothers me... it's really good to get a tongues on an ele shaman, a warlock, a disc priest, a holy paladin.. But other than that... it feels really underhelming for a rune. I dont know how to feel about about it.

I think the Green Lens of Shadow Wrath(36) and AB rep Legs are a tiny bit better but still using 4 set or maybe even use the Epic Shoulder with the Stam/Int and not the "PVE" one just for a few more stats so u still have 3 set bonus

Why 3 Points in Shadow Focus? Why not 2 if you use the Belt? And what is the thing about Spirit Tap? It doesn't feel powerful and in what situations is it worth to ahve it?

Spirit tap is a ton of passive mana regen for bgs/blood moon as we get a lot of last hits. It's bad for duels, better off taking 5/5 shadow focus there as it helps to reduce resists on binary spells like fear and silence due to shadow resistance. (Doesn't help for non binary spells)

@@Hydramist Ok, didn't know that :) Btw, what is your EQUIVALENCY POINT ratior for Stamina? e.g. Spell Dmg is 1, Spell Hit is 8.94. What number would you give STA at Sixty upgrades to get a quick impression how good the item is for pvp?

i play shadowpriest and i did my BIS list which was almost identical to yours, but eventually i came to the conclusion that i'd rather run Crafted epic head , crafted epic shouldiers and AB boots and then chest,gloves,legs from pvp.. Instead of all 6 being pvp. Staff is a no brainer, belt is a no brainer, neck is a no brainer, wand is no brainer... For rings there's the debate between exalted Emerald ring and underworld band...it will depend on how good the proc chance of the ring is, if it's proc chance is like the hyperconductive set, then the emerald ring will be superior by a lot. And ofc the trinkets are highly debetable as well. For wrist if you have exalted on WSG you just stay with those, the price is just not worth it. ( That's if you are undead with WOTF, if you are not undead the wrists are really strong) Cloak was the most disappointing feature of P3 for a spellcaster pvp for sure.. Update : So i did math again and i came up with this.. 1)45 stamina 30 intellect 4mp5 44 spellpower 294 armor VS 2)35 stamina 30 intellect 2% crit, 1% hit 48 spellpower 273 armor Option 1 is with epic Shouldier, epic head and AB boots and option 2 is FULL pvp gear 6/6. So apparently FULL PvP gear is better thanks to despair.

Void Zone over Despair all day. The area denial alone is worth taking this over Despair. You only have 10% crit with BIS gear anyways so even if you had 100% crit dmg increase on all spells it would only be 10% extra damage, but since your crit damage is only 50% it is a 5% damage increase on all spell damage. Yet again though, you probably look at 50% of your damage coming from direkt spells like MB,MF,SWD and 50% from dots, so the real damage increase from this rune is only around 2.5% damage as your direct spells already do crit... Take Void Zone instead.
