Thanks! While the damage reduction cap from armor is 75%, both 80up and the in-game character sheet only display armor damage reduction for mobs the same level as you. Part of the armor damage reduction calculation is level difference between you and the mob so you actually have lower damage reduction % against a boss mob (+3 levels) than what 80up and the in-game character sheet show. The armor cap for a boss mob (+3 levels) is 49,905. You can get there, but you actually lose a bit of EHP to do so. Also, inspiration doesn't have any affect on armor anymore like it did in TBC

Thanks! Slow weapons have increased seal dps. Seal of Vengeance instant and Seal of Command damage are based on weapon damage. From auto attacks, you'll get more but lower damage seal hits from a fast weapon and fewer but higher damage seal hits from a slow weapon. However, you'll have the same number of instant attacks regardless of weapon speed, and the slower weapon will simply get much higher damage seal procs off of the instants, leading to higher total dps.

Hey thanks! The balcony area just lets people get a little more damage in as she flies away when she's going into air phase. But there's less room over there, so people have to be better about using the space

Thanks for another great video Subtle! I got one question for the first week of ICC. I'm looking to get the boe legs crafted before the first 25man raid - would you run those with 4piece tier9? I.e. swap out towering chest armor for t9? Thinking the 4 set bonus would be pretty good for early progression

The 4 pc can definitely be nice for a few fights like LK and sindragosa. You can just use a 245 chest for 4 pc if you need to. Can also just go monstrosity+handguards of revitalization+pillars if you find you don't need the 4 pc

Fantastic video as usual! How do you make up for the lack of expertise in ICC gear? Are we supposed to just run low exp and have glyph to barely hit the soft cap?

Thanks! You can use some Guardian gems if you need to but expertise will generally just be a lot lower than TOGC. This phase everything has hit on it instead of expertise like last phase. There are a few dps items that you can use for exp though. As long as you're exp soft capped with Seal of Command up for the times you're using that, you'll be fine. Strength is better than expertise for threat and damage after expertise soft cap. For Sindragosa, you'll probably want to wear extra expertise to get to hard cap or close to it

Hey Subtle! I have a Gearing question for you. My guild is progging on HC LK currently and Im a MT. I have 277 tier chest and not sure what to buy next with a normal Conqueror's Mark. Id go with the tier gloves like you said but 277 Talaram's Fists dropped so Im not sure now. Here is what I have in my other 3 slots: head = 258 Liadrin's Faceguard, shoulders = 245 Liadrin's Shoulderguards, and 258 = Legplates of Feverish Dedication. 264 tier shoulders seem like the move but Id like your opinion. Could you help me out? Id really appreciate it!

Hey, I'd just grab the shoulders to get your 2 piece. Can go for the belt and trinket after that if you don't have ICC ones. Grats!

Hey sir, I'm trying to find some information on haste rating for protection paladin, but can't get any. Am thinking about socketing Str+Haste sockets to yellow slots in gear after ICC buff is up.

Haste and crit sim almost identical depending on your gear and are both worth around half of a point of str. I'd just go for bolds (or etched if you need hit)

Yah Gutbuster would be worthwhile. Slow weapons are better because they have higher weapon damage and many abilities scale with weapon damage. I'd grab the dodge/parry libram

dude bro so i have a pala with dual spec and that ICC rep ring you been talking about can i have both icc rep rings for both my specs? i kind of want the ret DPS ring because ret is my main spec kind off but i paly more as prot so i guess i would benefit by having the tank ring too. is it possible to have multiple rep rings for multiple specs?

It was possible to have both before but I think they just fixed this. Ormus did not have an option for me to get a new ring after deleting mine today, which was how we used to get one of each. I honestly use the DPS ring for almost everything, so I'd just grab that

@@gelotrader254 it looks low on wowhead because it includes all of the non-LWs killing those mobs and it's not even possible for them to see it drop. I've farmed it twice and it took under 15 mins both times

The armor legs are just BOE crafted. After chest and gloves, fill your weakest slot out of cloak, belt, trinket, helm, shoulder.
