I think that is awesome and the only thing I would say is at the trigger hole I would like to see it bent forward a bit to allow for more finger room with gloves.

I installed the EBR V2 right out of the gate, on my M5 build (when the receiver set was first released). It’s a really nice upgrade and looks good. Simple install to do and worth the extra $$. I’m surprised Magpul hasn’t released a .308 version of their release? There is a EBR V3 out now for small frames. Just ordered one for my current build.

seems if they make a version 2 and push the lever forward a touch then gloved fingers could fit in better, and im sure still be able to activate it with no gloves on too. looks like the lever could get hit if just jamming a gloved finger in hard and fast. although never used a bad on anything not sure if that spacing is normal

No. The BAD lever is much less intrusive into the trigger guard.

Got one of these for my .308 AR years ago. Glad I have it just wish it sat a little farther forward in the trigger guard. It kind of crowds the trigger a bit making it a bit tougher to get a gloved finger in there.

I hated the B.A.D. lever. Especially after finding the PDQ. Much better even having to modify the lower.

Good video.. Been wanting something like this for my m5 build. I'd like one in fde though. Does it engage on the bolt face, or the shoulder of the carrier behind the bolt lugs? Also, do you know of any extended mag release buttons that will work with this lower? (Odin works, seekins, etc..)

The phrase you're looking for is "continuity in manual of arms". I've been contemplating putting a "BAD" lever on my different AR's too, but I've been trained to use the "ping-pong paddle" since '85.... we'll math is hard, and I resist change! :-P

For "self defense" purposes I wouldn't want to have to finesse my gloved finger into position. I was looking to add this but this video helped me not. BUT, still subscribing because you guys are cool. ;)

These things are a packaged training scar. That being said I do have a BAD on one 14.5" AR. I don't even ever remember to use it. I just use it for cool points and occasionally encounter accidental lock back while shooting from a magwell grip.
