Too fast. But very well explained. After watching it 3-4 times, I have now completely understood the concept. I used to wonder how it works all these years. Thank you very, very much :)

Very nice explanation! This wiring scheme is very different from the one that we use in India. 1. Distribution board - it is not separated into MAINS In, Inverter In, Mains Out (power out from the mains) & Inverter out. 2. Only one "one way" switch is used instead of two separate switches and sockets for invert in and inverter out (two way switch). Here we simply cut the mains line in the distribution panel and wire it to the socket (to which inverter plug is connected). This socket has a switch (one way). The output from the inverter is brought back using another wire to the point in the distribution box where the initial cut was made. This wire from the iverter output is connected to the house side wire (where the mains line was cut - one side mains{it went to inverter input} and the other side will be connected to inverter output. This results in the inverter being charged continuously when the ower supply is available. The house gets supply via the inverter (but not from the battery). When the power is out the mechanism in the inverter connects it s output to the house's input.

@Ritooraj, very good explanation. So if I understand correctly the inverter will come in between the grid and the load. Is there any special setting in Inverter so that it acts as bypass when Mains is ON? I just got the inverter and batteries delivered today. I have an ongrid solar setup and, a DG connection. The Solar inverter turns off when grid is down (for safety). DG starts automatically and provides power in about 20 seconds. Both grid and DG are connected to ACCL, and the output is fed to the load. At times, DG does not start or it is turned of for cooling. Also, between the power switching from grid to DG and then back to grid, the appliances like TV turns off abruptly. Hence I am setting up a battery powered inverter for seamless switching between grid-dg-inverter. But I am stuck as to how to wire it. Any advice will be of great help. Thank you

If inverter output is working alongside electricity output, then that mean they dont share same outlets right?
@Sonin-e5yАй бұрын
All load to the home goes either through the power out (mains) or the inverter out. The power out, of course, will supply electricity to the corresponding load only when the grid supply is available. However, the inverter out will supply electricity to the corresponding load at all times--when the grid supply is available, the inverter out will supply the grid electricity, and when the grid supply is not available, it will supply the inverter (battery) electricity. This switching between the grid supply and battery supply is done by the inverter (it senses the grid supply outage when it is not receiving input power). I may be entirely wrong, but this is what I understand from the video.

For me this type of connection could damage my inverter board, I recommend only connect like TV, PC, Mobile chargers, and emergency LED lights, inverter fan ect, on out put live and neutral

I think it is assumed the wattage of all load turned on at once should not exceed the VA of the inverter.

This is unsafe connection 👈 There's no protection from the inverter connection. If anything goes wrong you die 👈 There should be seperate RCCB for Inverter 👈👈

Can you please help me understand? Where would this RCCB be placed? I have the same setup at home (but without the separate RCCB for inverter). If you tell me, I can ask my electrician to install it :)
