@@Venttex haven't had the chance to sit and test it out but i remember reading in a few places that for any interactions (book, footprints/fingerprints, things being throw/knocked over) the residual energy for the ghost only lasts 10-20 seconds and that's when you need the photo to be taken to count as "Interaction".

Yeah i took a picture of footprints in salt but when i checked it in the van it said interaction also can u do another part telling us more good tips so i can become a professional cuz last time i played professional i was like lvl 4 and i had the lowest sanity and it was high school so i was lost cuz i don’t know where to go, it’s so anoying cuz others aren’t being hunted but i am their flashlights ain’t flickering but mine is. afaik emf4 isn't an indication that it might be emf5, all ghosts do it and in terms of activity/danger they're essentially the same, just that level 5 is a proof Also if there are people who want to get their stuff back for immersion it's not necessary, it's understood that it will be picked back up after the removal team has done their job.

True, sometimes that last piece of evidence can be hard to find though so you gotta make an educated guess. There’s been times also that it was freezing temps but the thermometer didn’t show freezing and didn’t see breath. Just early access I guess lol

EMF level 5 has a 1/5 chance of appearing instead of any emf level 2 interaction, but only if the ghost has that as one of their.. traits? oh and, level 5 is strictly for evidence. level 4 just means that the ghost has manifested there/showed itself in the last 20 seconds.

This video helped me a lot. I have houses where we complete them as fast as you did, and others that take over 30 mins and get it wrong. My main thing is relying on people who watch the ghost orbs. Tonight I’ve had several levels where players insist they saw a ghost orb while I’m inside, yet it turns out it wasn’t that. I also play in VR so there are a few spots in levels that I cannot cross because I get stuck. Overall still a fun experience. I just wanna improve my accuracy on getting the apparition correct.

There is no shame just grabbing a flashlight on amateur difficulty and a picture camera, to run in and take pictures of bones on the floor with a stopwatch handy. And guess what kind of ghost with minimal evidence to log into your journal before you leave. I did this and accumulated cash & xp early on to grow some economy. I like to think I am a professional chicken bone hunter. I call it chicken bones because I was being one...but a rich one level 50 never the less. When you break the tipping point of having enough cash saved up - you can start becoming more brave and it doesn't hurt to know the layouts of the levels you did the "chicken runs" in as well. Keep your head up and your wallet hungry my dude.

Hey great video good information just wanted to add that the part of the board that says "the ghost responds to everyone or alone" that is only for the Spirit Box. So if you are trying to get the ghost to speak to you you might have to be alone if the board says so.

I remember I would just dump everything in the entrance before going looking for the ghost. One time, I dropped the book and as I was cycling through my inventory, the ghost wrote in it. It spawned in the entrance hallway. Easiest job of my life.

Idk if you figured it out, but some items (small ones) can clip through certain textures if you drop them. You may still be able to pick them up if you spam e and search the general area, but they seem to fall into a void otherwise.

A little tip to get more then 225§ on proffesional is the Ouija board, every question asked and answered is a Interaction, so basically you can get 4 to 6 3-star interaction pictures by just useing the Ouija Board, if you do this and also gets a picture of the bone, ghost, fingerprints etc you might get 300+ cash reward :) Hope this was helpfull, if not nvm xD

I have some friends that play phasmophobia with me and they all believe the way to use the spirit box is to say the ghost's name, wait 20 seconds, and then ask a question. Does their method work, because I have seen it work in videos without saying the name.

I always take the car keys because of the ghost is in the garage they can set off the car alarm and it can get quite annoying. Other keys, like the one in the farmhouse, will open other exits. No reason not to take them :)

P.S. In master bedrooms the ghost will inhabit the bathroom and the closet, so if you don't find anything in the room you won't find anything in the bathroom. A Sound Sensor helps you find linked spaces, since it shows "Master Bedroom" when you place it in the closet or the bathroom. And in case it's not clear - the Main Bathroom between the Boys Room and the Nursery is its own seperate space, and I don't *think* a ghost can inhabit Foyers (entrances).

It depends on the ghost if you can outrun them. Some of them you can outrun. You can in asylum or high school to get ghost orbs. Also it is okay to keep it all in truck just to when you go pick new things up you can check your sanity and the recent activity. Another good advice is do journal outside of house so sanity isn't wasted. Also if it drops below 0 °C it is freezing temps even if you don't see your breath. But overall these are good tips you have given to new people.

It may still be a bug in game. I know that there was the bug if someone picked up the house keys at the start and disconnected no one could get inside, but that was fixed. Not sure if it applied to items too.

I disagree with the outrunning thing. I always prefer to hide but you can outrun the ghost 1 out of 12 times if you can loop pretty good or have long hallways. This is because only one ghost can go faster than your sprinting speed; I believe it is the revenant.

A bit of a correction. You can outrun all but the Revenant. Those dudes are faster than you. Also hiding from the wraith can be a bad idea on larger maps. They move through walls and doors. So if you were to hide when It saw you. It would pass through any room to you. If a friend is hiding in a room prior to the one you broke line of sight in. It will kill your hiding friend. Best to just keep moving if you can. But yeah the rest of the ghosts either move slower than you. Or same speed

About the set camera - guys.. he made 2 mistakes in here: 1) the lights in kitchen was on - it needs to be off, so that you can spot a ghost orb in night vision, otherwise there would be too much green light, 2) the vase on the table was obstructing the POV so he forgot to remove the vase (can be picked up, and tossed away) Also before provoking the ghost to get some EMF levels, he should have taken photo of the bone, and pick it up..

I don't know if that was a bug or something, but I did my 5th-ish professional the other day. No freezing temps what so ever, no significantly lower temp rooms. The ghost kept roaming the whole match. No signals or hints. No spirit box, no orbs, no fingerprints NOTHING. We ended up wasting all our mental health and leaving. Do you have any idea? That was on a street house, we (the same team of the match I'm talking about) did asylum and school professional with no particular problems. Did it ever happened to you guys? Thanks
