I think that GS is very healthy for the game, a big reason that axe, hammer, and lance were getting played a bunch was that we don't have many heavy weapons and GS will help with that. Also, I think it's hilarious how I see so many people call the weapon broken or braindead just because it's new and they don't know how to dodge against it yet. It's scythe all over again!

I haven't played against it for a long enough time but for now it is very very hard to play against. especially at 2300 people know the strings and can punish you super hard if you make a wrong move or dodge weird. the thing i really hate about the weapon is the nlight into nlight because it catches so many inputs and after it you can do recovery which is also insanely good. jumping out of strings is pretty hard and dodging them can be a hassle too. it feels impossible to play against now but again that is probably because i haven't played long enough against it.

Ammiel Crispin Jaeyun is a high skill, high reward legend. He's far from OP, and imo he is pretty balanced with how ridiculously slow greatsword is. You thought axe was slow, greatsword takes it to a whole new level on both startup frames and recovery frames.

The down air is used to start a combo ( idk what else ppl are calling it) but i use it to disorient my opponent because it looks like my weapon is stuck in the ground for a few seconds then i can follow up with a side light and a neutral light

Well how do i he has like 4 hit 2 dodge frame combos which you cant really dodge because he literally covers every dodge option. Also its the first weapon to be rewarded if you miss a hit instead of being punished. With other weapon you just stand there but with greatsword you get into a stance and make a much stronger attack within 2 frames

Just saying, Jaeyun is one of the worst legends to spam with lol. Every single sig has pretty bad recovery frames making them easily punishable. Missed greatsword light attacks also have long recovery frames, and greatsword is among the slowest weapons in general. In fact, hardly anyone is playing Jaeyun because you can't mindlessly spam with him.
