Bob Dylan's songs are the best to cover, it's gold for everybody.

I was there IN PERSON and someone else here said it...BEST concert I EVER saw or ever WILL see. I bought a Blu Ray player and the disc of the concert but could never watch it because the player was in my mother's room and she was basically always in there. Even when she was hospitalized, I never found the time to watch the DVD. Now that she has passed away, her room is now vacant and I'm using it as a TV viewing room until I turn it back into a bedroom and I sat down today to watch the DVD. OMG!!!! I couldn't get over how many legends from back then are gone....Johnny & June Cash, Richie Havens, Tom Petty, George Harrison, Duck Dunn, probably so many others. I count myself blessed that I got to see all of these great artists on ONE STAGE on ONE NIGHT for a concert of a lifetime. No question about it.

Wow you were there! I used to watch this over and over on VHS when it came out. All of it is great but standouts for me are this, Stevie wonder, Neil young doing just like Tom thumb, petty doing license to kill, vedder, Richie havens, Clapton, and of course Dylan particularly north country. Also Sinead O'Connor's rehearsal of I believe in you was great, pity she didn't get to perform...great band!! Hopefully you had a good vantage point..

Nice to see the shout outs and some shots of Al Kooper playing organ. I don't think the man has ever gotten the credit he deserves for his decades of contributions to the music world. He is a gem, the story of how he ended up playing organ in the original Dylan recording of this song is a great one.

I hate to correct Joseph, but the white lady is Sue Medley, not Sophie B Hawkins. I saw her open for Dylan once.
