The Brits definitely ruled the 60's and 70's, and to a degree the 80's. Dylan was influential for sure, but to say he shaped the 60's, nope that was undeniably the Beatles

When this was first on TV, I remember thinking “wow, they’re all really getting old!” Now I look at it and think “they all look so young and healthy and in their prime.”

They should have left it undone. I couldn’t be more of a Beatles fan, having seen them on the Ed Sullivan show, and seeing them live at Shea Stadium in 1966. They are to this day my favorite group, having such an impact on my life. Growing up with them, is possibly why I’m am not moved by anything that was released after the Let It Be album.
