I'm glad that someone finally did a review on this gun. I do own exactly the same gun and I am surprised that you have problems with it (also bought it from the Gunfire). I am not sure but I think this gun is really rare to get (at least in Poland). After I bought it, about a month later I was unable to find a single one anywhere. I'm happy I got it because it's amazing and very accurate. Personally I decided to stick my battery to the front of the rail unit (on the right side) and used insulating tape. It does look nice and without any problems I can unplug the tamiya from the battery and charge it fairly easily. Otherwise it was really painful to somehow place 9,6v NiMh battery inside the grip, because it was simply impossible.

I have a real soft spot for these. Had several over my time as an Airsofter and always regret selling them. It's very rare you see one being used on a site. If you see the disassembly next week a hamfisted tech has caused damage to it, hence the bad performance. I have since fitted a MOSFET and a better spring and it runs lovely! I absolutely adore it. Just wish j could get some midcaps for a reasonable price. Pheas

I think JG hasn't produced many of these guns. I can mainly find the longer versions to purchase. Looking forward to see the disassembly video. Would like to see what's hidden inside JG109 as I am affraid to do it myself. Don't want to damage anything. When talking about mid caps. I totaly agree with you. It is really expensive. Wanted to get at least two for myself but the price has pushed me away, so currently it is required to use hi-caps which is still fine.

Sorry for the slightly disappointing performance out of the box but looks like a great base to build on. I love the look of that replica as well and almost pulled the trigger on one so good to see the potential l

It defo is alot better now. Replaced the wiring and spring and runs lovely now. They are usually ace out of the box but Some one was a bit ham fisted doing the downgrade (you'll see what I mean next week) pheas

Seems like you got a lemon. Tho with JG you mostly get lemons... Motor swap, internals check and reshim and it should be ok. I doubt that your bucking is sealing properly, there's no way that thing is that weak. If the spring was that weak motor wouldn't have any problems turning over at low voltage with weak cells. btw I've asked you if you could check how TK.45 works with pre-cocking on. How does recoil work when it's on and does FPS drop with it on or not (due to recoil system design). I'd love to see you test it out :)

Hello! It was made into a lemon by a tech that did the downgrade. Wait until you see the disassembly next week! I will take a look at the TK45 and get a video made, I am on the verge of selling mine, so this was good timing to suggest the idea. Pheas

Hi , do you think it's possible that the battery is attached elsewhere so that another front handle is used? Do you think it will fit inside the handrail like it does in another model? Any other thoughts?

Hello! On mine, I have put an AR stock on it using an adapter and wired it to the stock so that you can not have to use front wiring. The rails are unique to the G3 / mp5 types (not all mp5 type rails will fit though due to the barrel and shaping) y9ou can get a lipo to fit in under the rail though if you need it to, but will be small and thin! Hiya, the king arms ones, the Tokyo marui ones and the classic army ones all fit, not the lct. But they are very hard to get hold of or very expensive. The TM ones are gorgeous but extremely expensive and the king arms ones are no where to be found. Pheas

I am sad as a beginner the only place that does a 2 tone on the gun I want is patrol base and twain gun doesn't 2 tone guns (buy the way the gun is a DE m906e)
