Very interesting. That gearbox is the same as the ones ZCI are supplying to me that I have for sale for £23. Those gears are also made by ZCI, I had a prototype set sent to me 2 years ago, the sector gear split apart so worth checking yours (hopefully they fixed the problem). Nice gearset though, sector and spur is fully machined and pretty tough hardening.

Just to go over the gears. The mosfet is optical for the gears so you can swap and change gears sets with no problem

Excellent video, but could you possibly include recommendations for maintaining the gears etc. what grease you would use and where are the recommended grease / lubrication points are. 🙏👍👍

I love the suggestion.. unfortunately I have to be careful of what I say / suggest as the review system can / could / does think I'm suggesting modifications (which im not) but this is for products. Hi man! Sorry in advance for asking about something that is irrelevant to the video. I was wondering how are things with Cyma.099 (VSS Vintorez). Any feedback after using it for a while? I'm planning to get one of these and you seem to be a great source of information :) Peace brother

@@mrtn_pear9675 it's all good. The cylinder head is a bit offset like an M14 and the selector I think was a bit unique. I didn't keep mine, but from what I've seen, the guy still has it and it's still going strong. He replace the barrel and hop rubber for a bit better range and accuracy, but other than that, very happy with it. Pheas

@DatEmoji it's a 295mm inner barrel. The hop unit is excellent...the hop ribber is good, but could be a bit better. I would looks to swap it out in the medium term. Pheas

@@Jbgibo1901 if you can't pull the latch far enough down (if it's the same latch) then use a flat head screwdriver to pull down on it further whilst pulling it off
