Here is a documentation of my long hair transformation from short hair in 2011 to long hair in 2017. It is not quite a timelapse because I wouldn't take a picture every day. Instead I show slow motion clips and a few pictures, most of them between the 3 year mark and the 5 year mark. I hope you enjoy! :)

I’m 17 and wanted to grow my hair out since I was 14 right now I’ve grown it for 2 and a half years and it’s past my collarbone last time I had my hair short was May 2018 I don’t think I’ll ever have short hair again I love having long hair I can’t look at myself the same anymore xd

Nice video! Was your last haircut shorter than the first picture or did you have longer hair earlier and cut it to the length it was at in the 1st picture?

Thank you! The first picture was a couple of months before the last haircut. So I was already kinda growing it out. Then I had a hair cut which is my zero mark.

Well put together! Brilliant! One question though - is it getting closer to the time when you're going to cut it back severely? It's beautiful to have such long locks (and I think it's incredibly sexy), but constant maintenance must be a big issue? One thing that hasn't changed are those beautiful eyes......😊

Thank you! I'd say maintenance of hip length hair is not much more work than maintaining mid back length hair. Yes I do trim a lot more often these days, roughly every 3 to 4 weeks, just the damaged ends.

two things i want to ask 1. were your hair naturally that straight or did you use products or straightening procedures (keratin or rebonding etc) from time to time ? 2. how much hairfall did you experience while growing out the hair?

Hi Shazil :) I have naturally straight hair. I sometimes braid it, so it creates waves. So no, I don't use any straightening procedures or products. I shed a lot of hair. Especially when I wash or brush it, I can see the shed hair. I think it's normal. Keep it growing!

I think is referring to the average growth cycle of hair. Some grow longer, some grow less long.

@@pheloki do you mean some grow more than 8 years and some grow less than 2 years? More than 8 year hair gerowt is not so unusual, there are many men and women that can grow their hair longer than their height, while less than 2 years is quite rare, and I'm unfortunately heading toward the latter (I saw my hair shrinking in lenght, in last 10 years it lost 30 cm in lenght).
