Our society is a male dominated one and thus women and other groups have to be empowered and pushed forward. Even though Indian constitution guarantees equality and freedom for all, women and other backward communities are treated as second class citizens. This is terrible and thus we need feminism, because equality doesn't address the concern.

One question. If someone had sexual experience before marriage . It's ok under consent. But he/she didn't marry that person instead of that they had arrange marriage with person who they know for few month under the guidance of parents. My take: Feminism is for equality of responsibility and rights for all genders. Both male and female children should have responsibility to take care of elder parents. Both male and female children should inherit parent's property equally. Both male and female should be held responsible for household chores. You said that it is easy to rape a dalit girl in society compared to other girls. This is wrong, you can vaguely say that it is easy to rape a girl with less financial status or social exposure or support compared to girls who have these(even though only the consequences will differ, not the ease of attack). All dalit girls are not having the same financial or social status, there are girls outside this category who are less privileged than them at this point. I always see people use cast comparison as a way to get the feminist message across to people who don't understand it. But these are two different things, the cast is not written in your body, once you are out of the village you grow up(in the worst case --- and this is the real social disparity, being in a village. Irrespective of cast, will you be shocked to hear a village girl got raped? or city girl got raped? -- no), a stranger can not understand your caste without you explicitly stating it in some way. That is not the case with sex, it is very hard not to show that you are a female. So please avoid mixing this.

I see this as evolving of feminism. With more and more exposure it will evolve further more until it becomes the norm, but that will be another 50-100 years. I dont underatand why U said along the lines like when dalit women is raped, we dont feel that much as its common, then again I can understand. If that is what you conceived from that interpretation then you need to learn more about it. If we take malayalam film industry, how many female actors do item songs?? Very few or nothing would be the answer. And why is it so?? Fearing slut shaming most of the time, right? It's not bad doing item dance or any kind of art form which portraits physical features. But who is conceiving this?? And how ?? , that's what is important. It maybe difficult to teach the whole population at once about objectification and slut shaming and all then show the item numbers. But educating them in between is important but that's not happening these days. You can understand through the comments of people. I meant in foreign countries these things are happening and the male population is not objectifying them at large but that is not the case with the ancient culture following India's. If people can take it just as an entertainment then no problem but going beyond that is wrong.

There is no doubt that all religions r androcentric in nature. In such a scenario male dominance is the norm of the society. To fight against it we have gynocentric laws which support women. Gender equality is a human issue, to achieve it educate the society against religious patriarchy, misuse of gynocentric laws n comprehensive sex education.
