Their on screen couple might be really bad. But they are amazing IRL, Tom was pouring Phia a drink when I came in and he offered me one too. And we had a little laugh about how we were being served by the king, his response: ”I do my own shopping too”… Phia in a matter of seconds ”I can tell” 🤣 both burst out laughing even more. One of the most sincere and lovely moments I had during the trip 🙏🏻😍

You have really thought provoking questions for the actors, appreciated. I finished the first season thinking Tom is low-key excellent in the role and hoping he'll get enough space to shine in the next one. It is apparent he can get so much done with the role, if allowed to.

And I do try to have a bit more laid back approach with longer questions that hopefully gives me longer and mor thoughtful answers… it doesn’t always work out the way I hope when talent are expecting high energy (like many other interviewers come in to the room with). But this time I felt like they could relax and show something close to who they really are 🥰 also, from what I’ve seen Tom gets A LOT of room to prove himself as an actor this season!

although these actors seem to do well in interviews together, i noticed their odd body language, as if tom choosing to be "physically distant" wants to make it clear to viewers: "we're only together in the show, don't ship us irl" 🤭😄😄😄 unlike other cast members who sit closer together during any "intimate" press event (like fabian + olivia) & seem to be more comfortably "close" to their co-workers in the show. Although I'm certain tom & phia probably get together just fine BTS.

I wish you could have seen them before the cameras turned on when Tom was pouring up drinks with ice and stuff, with some real nice banter between them. His chair is right next to the table with water/ice/coca cola in this interview… and the room was hot with the lights. So think this ”space” is more of an ”lets not sweat but get more ice between each interview” kind of vibe 🤣
