This video is everything everyone needs. Just to add my two cents, Yoshi's flash variations all come out one frame slower if in crouch, also Xiaoyu's b1 is 8~13 depending on range.

Hey man, loving the content. As a nearly 40 year old with a lot of responsibilities, I don't have a lot of time to play these days. Your content has really helped me maximize the 30-40 minutes I get here and there in practice mode to actually learn more about the game. Keep up the excellent work!

ive been doin some level 3 into level 1 for a while now, but didnt have the terminology for it! i saw that k-wiss playing victor was going into perfumer after wr2 for the mix up. ive been doing that, and after a while, some ppl will start pressing buttons to stop perfumer. well this is when i can do my level 1 and light them the hell up! i didnt understand the mind game of what i was doing per say, just that it was an effective strat. thanks again for helping me internalize these ideas better!

Istg Phidx I love what you’re doing and you helped my gameplay out a lot and improved my aggression on offense but holy shit I’m still HARDSTUCK going in and out of the red ranks due to the 50/50s and complete mashfest down there.. I’ve never been good with dealing with spam and mash pressure. Any tips on how to fix that?

you've been my favorite Tekken teacher for a while now, but as a Jin player who started right at the end of 7, I'm really glad you used him as an example for most of this video. I have a bad habit of overcomplicating my game, so you breaking him down to a few frame traps off of key moves is going to help me a ton. much love, Phi!

These are the videos I watch from Phidx, most the time I don’t particularly want to watch him but if I see anything frame traps, Mix ups or specific character videos are what I look for and I’m here for it. Best thing about this channel is “I’m not there yet but I’m going to save the video for when this is troubling me” which is the beauty of Tekken, work on things in your own time and stop overloading yourself!

Very nice video. What helped me the most was the sites at the end. I kind of knew what my traps were from other guides/docs but, testing it on my own after seeing the frame data myself, helped me understand on a deeper level which will be my go-tos and which are more situational. Can't wait to test it out in some ranked matches. Keep doing these videos I've been improving a lot from them, see you on stream.

I am very impressed with the level of detail in these PhidX videos. It's remind me of the old Tekken Zaibatsu site back in college. Where you got most of the tech that wasn't common knowledge... I enjoyed the content and find it super helpful. I have played every Tekken Game from T1 to T8... I like the nuance in seeing the concept playing out and notes to backup the lesson... Keep doing your thing young man... I am a Paul, Mardux main. I think this video and other have helped more than just notes on a web page...

Bro ngl your content is basically Tekken 8s equivalent of the old T7 Aris explanation videos. Just not with a stoner and a bit more mathematical. EDIT: I just realized that that comment sounds condescending but what I meant was. I love that. :D

press a 10f jab and get counterhit launched by a 6f flash. that's how it usually goes. 10f jabs hit high, many characters evade highs with counterhit launching mids or high evading powercrushes that function as heat engagers. i mean good job, you alone help Tekken 8 make any sense at all, but it's still a mess regardless. appreciated, though.

By why drag got knocked down and steve didn’t is its base on damage or B2 has a knocking property ? Im on vacation so i cant check. Please answer me in the replies. Thank you!

The game has been doctored so much so far that damn near majority of moves are whiffing 😂😢 trying to beat someone with old frame data is pointless because the system hit boxes are all over the place 😕 sweep's don't work after combos it's almost like the opponent has invincibility but when I'm on the ground it doesn't work like that

These are all based on a 50/50..if you are plus, they may are may not press. This video is also good for asuka and leroy players. They parry after any plus or minus! For any frame trap to work, you must do a hard read..but its good to know frames!
