Just make sure everyone watches season 4 of Newsradio, his last season. He had reached a new level of comedic acting there where his character was fully rounded and he could get laughs while acting believably without needing to go for obvious punchlines. In a very auspicious career, Newsradio season 4 has his best work. Some of the articles at the time of his death said his stardom was poised to break out into a new level at that point in his career and it was because he had evolved into such a fine comedic actor. He could now get laughs and play scenes on a subtler level that would've helped him get many more interesting movie roles.

There’s something about that “thanks, Francis” I enjoy. It’s such an under the breath line where Andy takes on the persona of someone starstruck by Sinatra, possibly with some romantic undertones. Like Frank Sinatra only allowed his dames to call him Francis. Can’t believe how funny Phil Hartman is too.
