I'm glad these videos on toxic behaviors, narcissism etc are being done. Thank you Dr Phil!

I think love is a myth. People says it’s an emotion, I believe it’s a decision.

I like these series. That's why I'm changing environments moving out of parents house buying my own home having ordering all food to my doorsteps. And healthy snacks all ready in my kitchen just in case for craves.

"Who is there to fight for your long-term well-being?" You are. We are. That's up to us, actually. If we're up for it. But we all want to abdicate that responsibility to our government, corporations, or significant others. Right? Hence, we wind up abused often by whoever we have entrusted with that power. Take it back. By taking responsibility. For yourself. For your long-term well-being. Right? Whose responsibility is it to ensure I'm energized for work: Starbucks? Keurig? A drill sergeant? Personal trainer? Nutritionist? Health coach? Motivational speaker / author? A device on my wrist monitoring my sleep cycles? No. Mine.

Doctor Phil, thank you so much for bringing us 🥁🥁🥁🥁 Dan. 🕊☕☕ I really enjoyed his experimental research on his line of questioning and determining factors. His studies are a lot of fun to listen to, and the outcome is fascinating. Truly applicable. I look forward to next week because I am in that situation where I cannot work in new york anymore due to a personal choice that I make not my company's recommendation but New York City's recommendation as a medicAnd my company being more than a 100 employees. I'm 63, and I have to pack up my apartment after 15 years and sell it, and I'm completely overwhelmed I'm staying in bed today in hopes that I will get energized tomorrow! I've been waiting for the emotional energy to have been the ticket for 2 weeks now. For me, all I have to do is change one small thing; even just getting up on the different sides of the bed or a different time should make all the difference in the world..... And again, maybe not. I have enjoyed all of your fill in the blanks as well as the last almost 40 years you've been sharing with us...

Great video. These comments are really strange though

I'm at 20:22 and confused because I thought this might be about the rise of authoritarianism and group think or letting others, like an internet consensus, make our decisions (or votes or purchases) for us and I'm just coming to terms with the fact it's more about our personal eating and health habits. Yes? Oops. I might be in the wrong room. Or perhaps we can expand these ideas - is that why there is a part 2?

So, like, sugar or unhealthy food for people with diabetes could be treated like addiction for people who like crack or alcohol or fentanyl or tabacco or whatever?

We could have divided the day into 30 hours instead of 24? But, how long does it take Earth to complete one full spin? Can we change that? Is that in our power? I'm confused by his funny side comments.

So, Krispy Kreme is becoming better at preying on my weaknesses? There is a diet guy who runs a funnel about just making the decision once to get rid of all the temptations in our kitchen and restock only healthy options and just keep the cotton candy out of the cabinet so it's not easy to slip into that habit when we feel weak. Is this new info? I'm curious that this man "asked to borrow the Dalai Lama's monks for experiments", and giggled that the Dalai Lama declined. I, too, have met the Dalai Lama. I'm not into social experiments, so it never occurred to me to borrow anybody's people - but also because I don't think of people as belonging to any one else besides themselves. If I were doing that, I might ask the individuals or invite them to participate of their own accord. Um. Did anyone else feel a bit odd about that part?
@brightpage10202 жыл бұрын
Yes. Krispy Kreme is gaining access to me at more points throughout my day. Corporations can now text their ads or copy directly to my phone and skip the friction of the pesky e-inboxes I've setup just to catch advertisements. Dho!
