@Vpopov814 жыл бұрын
i was gonna say he seems alot more passive. Probably because the game has changed. In 2003 tight aggressive was taught so lag was prolly easier to run over the table now everyone is lag. Or who knows maybe people tighten up as they age a la doyle brunson chip reese
@LucasLincolnn4 жыл бұрын
phil is more tight passive nowadays because the skill gap between him and the rest of the field is way smaller. in the past he could profitably 3bet any two against 90% of the players because of his huge edge post-flop. now the game is very different and all his opponents have a very consistent fundamental understanding of the game. that being said, he's still an elite player.

I haven’t watched the video just skipped to that part but I would guess by the commentary they are play short decked? Short decked is when you remove 2-5s from the deck meaning A-6-7-8-9 makes a straight to beat 2 pair.

23:40 a massive mistake when checking cards. Ivey knows right away that he has a pair.

44:13, how is Mr Ivey winning that hand? What am i missing here? Ivey doesn't have the flush nor the straight or a set. How is he winning this hand?

@44:05 has 100% straight ! Can someone tell me where is the straight ?

The odds on the last hand aren't right at all. Preflop OK, but Ivey is 45% on the flop, and on the turn he's 27% because he also has 2-5 of hearts. (c/o Holdem Lab)

They're playing short deck which means cards 2s-5s are not playable
