The Master Strikes again lol. From when I was 9-10, I watched Phil in awe, usually on a Sunday afternoon from the Gods. No one better in my humble opinion..

Hi Kevin, I had a similar experience except I was watching and listening to Reginald Dixon and Watson Holmes at the Tower, and not forgetting Horace Finch at the Empress! Wonderful days which in my opinion have never been equaled! A for a good laugh the Dinah Dee Duo in the Tower Lounge, Hammond C3 and Drums, were an attraction in their own right! You had to be there! Thanks for commenting, PAUL ComptonLodgeStudios.

Phil certainly works hard. He was a brave man to take over from the ledgendary Reginald Dixon at the Tower. A very nice guy! Best Wishes and Thank You for commenting, PAUL ComptonLodgeStudios.

Hi Angus, The DVD was released in 2004 but the sleeve notes etc., are not as informative as the could/should be, something we always try to do on our ComptonLodgeStudios and SRT Records. Shame really, Thanks for your most welcome input and interest, Best Wishes PAUL.

@@ComptonLodgeStudios personally I think it has to be very mid/late 90s. Judging by the recording and the familiar Roland sounding piano on the MIDI 😂

@@Angus2020 Do you happen to know what type of Roland Module was used? Was it an SC-88 or SC-55 by chance? I seem to recall one of those was used before it was swapped for the now familiar P50m, but that could be Saltaire or Worthing I am thinking of as they have Roland modules.

Wonderful! Could you tell me what all 3 pieces are called?

Hi Julie and thanks for commenting. The titles appear to be "Puttin on the Ritz", Possibly "Russian Lullaby" and the last must be the worst version of "Anything Goes" I've ever heard sorry to say. Thanking you for your interest, PAUL @ ComptonLodgeStudios in the Welsh Rhondda Valley.

@@ComptonLodgeStudios Thanks Paul - that’s really helpful. It’s actually my brother who is much, much older than me who was asking the question. He loves the Wurlitzer but this is the first time I’ve heard it - what a lovely instrument. (I’m learning to play the flute - it’s much more portable!😀)

Putting on the Ritz, Reaching for the Moon, and the last tune is Let Yourself Go.
