This guy is a fucking legend. Humor and what people find offensive is subjective. NOTHING is offensive unless someone chooses to find it offensive. I can call someone an asshat in a joking matter and they can find it offensive, and yet I can call someone a piece of shit cunt as an insult and that other person mightn't find it offensive.

probably won't happen since he tends to be a real loudmouth and isn't afraid to swear to an insane degree.I respect the man but to me and this goes for Phil as well, no one wants to here anyone say something out there just so they can get an reaction

"It's better to be kind than to be right"-- I couldn't disagree more...

Well define "kind" and "right." You could be correct in your knowledge but a terrible person...it would be objectively better to not be a terrible person but be wrong about some things. If by "kind" you just mean externally polite, but with or without it you can still be ethical or unethical, and if by "right" you mean correct ethically, then yes, the roles are now reversed.

In society it behooves you to be kind, but success is not dictated on kindness. You may get further with kindness, but it doesn't help solve sophisticated problems to advance society (on a general average basis). I completely agree. She basically said feelings matter more than facts. And that's BS

That's the problem today is people think their feelings are more important than reality.

Absolutely. I'd rather be slapped in the face with the truth than to be told what I want to hear. Maybe in the moment it will piss me off but when I hind sight it... I'm always greatful cause it's something I can fix. If everyone was told what they wanted to hear we would all be on ape level still.

@ty qwer I get what your saying but facts don't care about people's feelings. Yes it's always better to spit facts in a kind way but unfortunately in today's world everyone's so dam soft they can't even accept constructive criticism without there feelings getting hurt. Too many people so focused on living inside there own head that even if they see truth or are given proven facts they ignore it if it doesn't line up with the agenda going on inside them. It's a sad time we live in on so many levels. Every generation gets more soft and has less morals. Facts mean nothing unless it's on a video game which is crazy anyway. Everything's at a touch of a button instead of working for it. Kids use to get jobs after school now they tell there parents off then get $100 bill to blow on drugs. Why? We're soft. Those are just a couple of examples out of 100s. We're not living the way we do now by accident. We created it.

Free speech police! She says she swears all the time, but doesn't she think some ppl may be offended by that? Why is it ok for her offensive words, but not others? Its very hypocritical of her to say "why not just use different words?" When she chooses not to do the same. No matter what you say, someone will be offended by it. This is why speech, even "hate" speech is not only free, but necessary.

He’s not a right winger though. If you’re not from the US, I understand “right wing” means different things in different countries but he’s a Libertarian. As a Libertarian myself, I often get characterized as “right wing”. Libertarians typically agree with the small government, freedom of speech, right to bear arms aspects of the right as well as the gay rights, racial and gender equality, etc. of the left. This is a very simplistic explanation but it’s the easiest way for me to explain the distinction between libertarian and right or left wing. Basically Libertarians believe that you should be able to do, say and own anything that you want to as long as you’re not hurting anyone or infringing on another persons natural rights. This is why, unfortunately, we often get lumped in with different political ideologies depending on the perspective of the person engaging in or observing political conversations involving Libertarians. Sorry for the long comment. Morning coffee + bored on the shitter is to blame.

I can see his point of view with the whole bus thing. It was the driver's fault (or whatever had happened) and they were sleeping, so they weren't involved with anything, so they didn't have to show their ID at that time.

She pretty much just made his point though. He said that some words are offensive to some people and not to others and you can't control that. She then turns around and says "dot head" is offensive but "curry in a hurry" isn't offensive, why? Bc some random person called her "dot head" and her friends called her "curry in a hurry", that's why. If her friends called her dot head, she'd be totally fine with it. People pick and choose what they want to be offended by.

Lol to the interviewer talking on how police are there to protect: police are there to enforce the law. Nothing against police. But you have as a free man or woman have a duty and responsibility to account for your own and the people around you and that they are safe. Thats why every able-bodied person who is at the age of majority should carry and train with some sort of weapon to protect themselves

my problem with people like the interviewer is displayed during the bus incident discussion. she agrees he doesn't HAVE to show ID but yet tries to force her views on him because she didn't agree with his. why is his choice to not show ID such a problem for HER?

I like Phil and All that Remains but I pray for Phil that he will repent. It's unfortunate he was raised catholic and is now an atheist. I don't believe roman Catholicism has a biblical gospel, and I don't believe atheism is a rational worldview. Hopefully he sees the light one day!
