What a legacy. Cannot count the times i've seen Phil and the GD. The light generated... may it continue to be shed abroad for many years.

I loved that man so much. I really enjoyed the 2000-2005 years of Phil and Friends. I was fortunate enough to see 19 shows in that time frame. No doubt he had the best solo career post Garcia. It was strange and cool in the way it helped me cope with Jerry's death.

Oh, my, God!!! I did enjoy D&C. A little slow at times, was definitely glad I saw the shows I saw. But, I don't recall them getting that "out there"!! Happy Birthday Phil and many more! 84 years old, still going strong. And almost 26 years survival and still going strong as a liver transplant survivor 😎

I came here expecting to be. disapointed, but I was not. They are carrying on the legacy; the songs, the musicianship, and the improv. jams, thats what Grateful-Dead music is all about. Compare this with what Bono is doing with U.2. in Vegas. Now he's just a Vegas lounge act!
