I remember Phil while on his first original equipment liver, walk into a Holiday Inn hotel room with a Becks in each hand, proclaiming himself a “two fisted drinker” before guzzling from both bottles simultaneously. He was a powerful force both on stage and off. RIP Phil.

That’s not at all what he’s saying numbnuts. Of course he didn’t invent the bass, what he’s saying is that Phil invented his own way of playing the bass because of his unique background and because he was completely self taught. Let me guess, you suck at parties? Am I right?
