1st…interviewers only tried to push the England thing because of the business. A lot of great musicians came from England, it wasn’t because they were that “stupid” of his accent and where he was really from. That’s what Phil stood against as well as the blatant disrespect of his heritage, to which he was so proud of. 2nd put down the Guinness because it’s a far reach to try and remotely compare yourself anything close to Phil Lynott just because your a “Dubliner”.

To her credit- at that time- she is acting in away most people thought about Ireland at that time. And they were introduced in the US country as being from London. There’s footage of Ted Nugent introducing them as “London Boys” on the Midnight Special.. Also- she got saddled with all the Interviews the “stars” like Mark Goodman, Alan Hunter, etc didn’t want. She would be talking to people she didn’t know and had no time to do research- as you can tell here. She talks about that a lot today. “Oh Martha Quinn gets to talk to Joan Jett and I get sent to LA on a Red Eye to talk to Frank Zappa in a bad mood on Sunday morning and have him berate MTV right to me.
