I was listening to Bang and got home to read the news and they reported Karl's passing. It made me cry. He was truly a magical artist and musician. God bless to him and his family.

I only just found out about Karl's passing two weeks late. He was a huge part of my life. I've found that the Waterboys song, "When Ye Go Away" describes my feelings completely.

Love Karl so much. If you wanted that sixties vibe in the 80s or 90s World Party was there mixing it all up, such nice memories. Sunshine, Way Down Now, Put the Message in the Box, etc etc.

I hadn’t seen this before… thank you… I’m now at that age where losing people you know and appreciate is becoming more frequent… never easier… Karl’s passing hit me hard… saw World Party… in NYC… a while back… Karl was very personable, funny and it was a great night of music. You can hear so many influences in his music… but with his own voice and spirit… This was a great surprise to find and hear… everyone playing here … sounded just wonderful. Hope those that have left are resting in peace 🕊️… thank you 🙏 for your talent and music 🎶… you are missed. 🌜🌞🌛

The first song was superbly done, but I was pleasantly stunned by their second choice! It's such a rare treat to hear any grouping of legendary Brits cover The Dan. John Wetton's voice was perfect for it. John is greatly missed, and so is Karl.

Some amazing talent but hearing John Wetton's incredible voice while playing bass like that is pretty much gold standard. RIP Karl, songwriting genius. We still have Phil and that new book looks pretty cool.

Phil's book is excellent! What a life he's led. It's self-published on his Expression label, so grab it while it's in print.
