Hello Phil and crew my name is William me and my son little bill have watched every episode of duck dynasty and unashamed phil was my sons favorite and si is my favorite well my son was tragically taken from this earth by an impaired driver while he was riding his electric bike home from work (my boy was only 18) on December 26th 2023. I had talked to him in great lengths about Jesus but I’m not sure if he took it all in all I’m asking is if we can be held up in pray every pray helps

William, I am so very sorry for the loss of your 18 year old son Little Bill. I believe that your son DID take in all the the talks you gave him about Jesus through The Holy Spirit. I believe that by watching Unashamed that your son wanted to know more about God The Father and Jesus. Pray and ask God for your son to give you a sign from Heaven. I pray that God gives you peace, comfort and joy as you and your family mourn the loss of your son. I live by a really busy highway, and I can hear people on motorcycles/Electric bikes, and the second I hear them I pray to God for their protection. Maybe in honor to your son and respect for God, you can pray for people's safety as they ride their motorcycles/Electric bikes.🙏

I pray The LORD puts His peace and countenance upon your home, brother! One of my favorite segment of scripture, maybe my favorite, is Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus speaking says, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light Matthew 11:28-30 Right now your soul is laboured. You are heavy laden with the woes of the world already and stress of that, then the loss of your son, and I'm sure that's not all the problems this life has brought you. Get closer and closer to Jesus, He understands your heartache, when you are heartbroken He is heartbroken with you. He is meek and lowly in heart, meaning He identifies with the nobodies like me who has been the drug addict lying to my family, neglecting and mistreating those who never stopped loving me. When I learned and I mean really started learning WHO JESUS IS I realized He connects with the drug addict, the prostitute, the tax man, SINNERS LIKE ME, I realized more and more everyday that He ate dinner with no goods like me. He loves me! He loves you! Curl up as close as you can to Jesus Christ and He will ease your pain. He will give you rest unto your soul, you'll find rest in Him and Him alone! I know He will do it for you because He is doing it for me STILL TO THIS DAY! I hope the peace my words are intended to bring is well received. God bless you and I will be praying for you. I am sorry for your loss.

In the prior verse (John 14:5), Thomas asked a reasonable question: if we don't know where we're going, how can you say we know the way there? Christ's answer reinforces a doctrine of salvation by grace through faith, as well as denying there are "many paths" to God. Prior to the label "Christians" (Acts 11:26), faith in Jesus was often referred to as "the way" (Acts 24:14). Thomas' question (John 14:5) assumes the normal pattern of human accomplishment: we determine an end goal and work accordingly. But salvation cannot be accomplished by good works (Titus 3:5). Our sinful natures make it impossible to behave in a way that reconciles us to God (Romans 3:20). Jesus did not tell the disciples they knew the destination-in fact, He said He would come to get them (John 14:3)-but they know "the way" there (John 14:3-4). This is true because the means of salvation is not a process, it is a person. It is only through-the person of Christ. We cannot strive to earn heaven, we can only seek to follow Christ. That is how we are meant to know God (John 14:7). Paul memorably restates that salvation comes through a person in 2 Corinthians 4:6. Rescue from sin comes through Jesus, not rituals, or accomplishments, or personal virtue. The disciples know how to arrive where Jesus is going because they know Him-they know "the Way" because that Way is Jesus. Eventually, men like Thomas will connect this declaration to Jesus' other teachings, and fully realize the meaning of salvation by grace through faith (John 3:16; 10:10; 11:25-26; 12:44-46; Matthew 16:15-17).

If you haven't seen pastor Allen Nolens with Cornerstone fellowship series on Revelations he goes over each Chapter verse by verse and alot of what your talking about is what he is explaining. Spoiler alert, the Vatican is in it...and not in a good way. Highly recommend.

One product I've never understood is going to the beauty shop for a permanent. Everyone, including the beautician knows that "permanent" isn't permanent. At best it's only temporary, and may not even make you look a bit more beautiful. If they were truthful, it would be called a temporary, and it could improve your look for some people. Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some people might say a paper bag placed over a person's head would make them look better. A lot cheaper too. Just more false advertising.

To Phil, I believe Jesus came to me and is trying to let me know the truth. I found myself in a life of sin doing drugs cheating on my wife Lying all the time but i fixed my life and for 8 years ive been sober but stayed away from the higher power. I was a FOOL 8 days ago i was over come with emotion and pain i planed my suicide until i felt a sharp burning pain in my chest im a emt i know what too look for and the feeling but this was not that im also a firefighter and im telling you it felt like i was caught in a flashover with the heat that went over me. i prayed thinking that was the only thing left that can help me. it slowly went away a few s3econds later i felt it coming back so i got ready and it never came but what did felt like water like warm water al over my body even though i was on the floor in my room alone no one was home. after that that feeling never went away and i still have it. Not just that from the time i wake up to the time i go to sleep all i can think about is god and jesus and how he died for me and i dont know whats happening to me but im looking for answers. long time fan
