Phil Robertson

Күн бұрын

Phil delivers a "Gunsmoke"-style frisking to an Unashamed listener. Jase takes one for the team during a disagreement with Missy and admits there's a lesson it took him 25 years of marriage to learn. The guys talk about the misconception of marriage as a rules-based system, how Jesus treated women, and the misunderstanding many people have about submission. Jase remembers a class called "Should My Wife Be Submissive to Your Husband?" And Phil salutes older women.

I have family down in Savannah, Georgia, and I’ve eatin’ my fair share of the deliciousness of Crappie! I’ve even been fishing down there and caught many, too. However, I will have to disagree with the Crappie being the best tasting “fresh water” fish... I live up here in the Pacific Northwest of Washington State and our Rainbow Trout is the best! Especially, if it’s caught from a clear running brook or creek (lake is good, too). Unfortunately, our politics up here aren’t as good as the fishin’. Much love to you all down there! Special prayers for Mia and for you, Jase and Missi, as her parents. All is the name of Jesus!

I truly love my wife even after twenty years and that is because we believe and submit to God. The Bible makes all of life so much easier. The blueprint for our lives.

Romans 13:1-5 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience.

Perhaps i missed the clarification in the video but from what i heard i dont recall there being a differentiation in the discussion about rules for the purpose of obtaining salvation and rules obeyed because of what He has done on our behalf and because it pleases the Lord when when obey His commandments. 1John 2:3 lays it out pretty clear that we have rules to obey, just not for works sake, that no man may boast. Also, following the laws of the land, which wasnt brought up, but i think it necessary to mention that we are admonished to subject ourselves to the authorities for His names' sake.

What you think would embarrass someone and what someone else would be embarrassed about are completely different things if you haven't noticed. It's really sad what people are ok doing you know it's not like a situation that happened under normal conditions they will completely flip it completely around and act like it's similar when it's nothing like it just to act like they have a reason do to something and they should know like anyone does some things what you think about it never is a reason to do certain things to a person and yes no matter what you say you should know

By God's grace, I've served God with Jesus as Lord of my life for 40 years this July, raised children, & am 63 years young, however my personal experience is that typically younger women (mostly millennials + younger) whine excessively regarding marriage & especially motherhood, yet when assistance is offered, they adamantly have refused help. It seems as though they just like the attention of complaining, maybe? In our generation we were taught to "respect" our elders, but it's a different world now.
