I absolutely love the fact that you all serve with Celebrate Recovery and that you hire people who dont have a perfect past. It really means a lot to someone who are trying hard to climb up from rock bottom. I feel like that's a Christ-like thing to do. As a recovering addict, I know what its like to be at the bottom, knowing you've been wrong and done wrong, burned so many bridges and feel hopeless. To have just one person to believe you when you say you're making changes, it makes so so much difference. It really changes your life if just one person believes you mean it when you say you want to do better. I understand why people don't believe it but I'm so thankful for those still willing to take a chance on those who are at rock bottom. Its life changing, really.

You do have to get use to them and use bathroom tissue but not as much! Thank you Phil for making me laugh! I know Miss Kay will like it once she gets home and becomes familiar with it's use. I believe it does matter Jase, "verse37" cause I think it kinda takes away from that person who is being baptized, that he or she should believe with all their heart, and it's not just a submersion in the water. Just a thought❤️🙌🙏

I believe, In accepting the Gospel (good news) then following with being baptized. There always seems to be the splitting of hairs with some denominations. This is a true example that I’ve experienced: A dying person is asked are you a Christian? The response is “yes, I’ve been baptized”. Does this require a follow-up question to be sure of their salvation? On the other hand, the person says, “yes, I’ve accepted Jesus”. As the person asking the question I personally would feel more assured with the second answer. I know the question and answers could be stated differently. This is just an example of a real situation. I hope this helps. A person should surely follow accepting Jesus as Savior with scriptural baptism. If they are ashamed, frightened, afraid of getting wet, etc. they probably won’t make it. I say probably because I’m not God.

We get this time to choose eternal life or not. Stop holding back from saying anything about Jesus. Even if you don't think they listened to you, God can cause the seed planted by your words to grow.
