They keep throttling the games so they have not even been using the power of the Xbox X as of now. No reason to ever upgrade if they do not allow these games to utilize the power of the X the way it is now

I know what you mean. My XBOX x Skyrim mod build is limited to 5 gigs, but my PC Skyrim GOG version is run 1.5 terabytes of mods! Steam version of Skyrim maxes out after 350 gigs. So why such a small amount for the Xbox???

My feeling is that the Xbox which I started to love when the Black OG XBOX came out filled with EXCLUSIVE games is changing and I don't like this cause Sony will rule the console market in future.

Nintendo is currently ruling the console market. Just wait until they reveal all the Switch 2 games that are coming. Their third party support will be insane, and Microsoft will be publishing a lot of games on the Switch 2. My guess is that Everwild will be revealed during the Switch 2 Direct.

The RB trigger is similar to a lock on feature. But it's pointless to have a lock on feature when you are trying to get combos in. Idk why people are trying to turn the camera around when they are fighting enemies. Use the RB trigger.

Excited to hear about Gears news! My prediction is that Gears collection will release as a shadow drop at Xbox Showcase and Gears E-Day will be released either in Spring 2026 (if GTA 6 is released in Fall 2025) or Fall 2026 (if GTA is released in Spring 2026). Gears is the only game that I am looking forward to and not the other 10 games being released so Gamepass doesn’t have too many games for me but too little. Would be super happy if Gears E-Day.

Magg i freaking love you but sorry to tell you. As a college running back with sooo much football experience there is a penalty on every single play in the NFL they just dont all get called. Every play there is pass interference, holding, clipping. 2 close calls in the first half of the game didnt give the chiefs a win. There isnt a single video on the planet that shows the ball clearly passing the forst down marker. The field stick that the chain gang holds? That thing is wide at the top so you can see. It comes down to a point and guess what. The chain gang isnt always 100% right actually they set the stick on the wrong marker ALL the time. Ive played in over 200 football games. They never get it perfect. Josh allen and the bills needed to do more and im sorry they just didnt beat the chiefs.

You're correct that there are penalties committed on every play, and that's how the referees control the game and make sure that the correct team wins. The Chiefs are in the Super Bowl because the NFL has them as their new dynasty, since the Patriots dynasty had to come to an end. And if you don't believe me, just look up Dwight Smith talking about games being rigged. Dwight Smith was a DB for the Bucs when the Bucs beat the Raiders in Super Bowl XXXVII. Dwight had two picks that he returned for TDs. And he said the game was rigged. It doesn't matter who's on the field. The game is decided off the field. And a few other former players have said the same. So, there was nothing Josh Allen and the Bills could do to win that game, because they were supposed to lose. And hey look, we're now going into Andy Reid Bowl II, and Taylor Swift Bowl II. It's as if the NFL scripted it this way to try to push the ratings as high as possible.

@ yeah im sorry but that was not convincing enough. I listened to that interview. Now i would grant you this. Maybe some of the refs are chosen and more favorable but that is WAY to big of a secret to keep. Just like saying jake paul has contracts where his opponents are letting him KO them. Its SOOO illegal. If this many people ACTUALLY care about football why do they care if its rigged. Whos to say all sports arnt rigged? Theres no way to prove it. So now i can go down the list and discredit any sports argument ever. “Lebrons the greatest” NBA is rigged. Albert puholes is one of the best “mlb is rigged” okay no argument exists at this point

When Phil says not every game will be ported, it's financial. A game like South of Midnight may not make sense to port to PS5 because the expense of the port would outweigh the sales. A defacto exclusive if you will. So not just older titles.😊

I heard nothing about Play$tation games going to XBox..... The 3rd party bit of manufacturers making their own XBox, I don't see it happening because that would just be SteamMachine all over again, granted I do want Valve to have theor own official SteamOS console. I'm still going to stand my ground regarding XBox games going to Play$taton or Nintendo, Nintendo and Play$tation games ain't going to XBox, Play$tation games ain't going to Nintendo or XBox just like Nintendo games ain't going to Play$tation..... The same is true for each's online services and NOT good for online multiplayer CrossPlay because incompatible service features..... If you can't communicate what's the point?? Overall, I bought XBox for Halo, Fears, I bought Play$tation for things like God of War, AstroBot, (granted najority if my ganes appear multiplay because Play$tation never really seem to have anything that really stood out and spoke to me) Nintendo in my earliest days fir Super Mario Bros, Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Pokémon. This ain't about the plastic box, it's about the BRAND having exclusives that DEFINE AND DEMONSTRATE THAT it's worth investing. Without exclusive oroducrs and services, the brand will slitw and surely go extinct. Last yhiughts on the handheld, if it dies well, future I not only want an official VR geadset, I'd prefer it be XR and encompass EVERYTHING, VR, AR, mm ore specifically Mixed whether games or apps wise, BOTH. I also want the HDMI TV/IN port back. There was absolutely NO reason to get rid if it, I never used the guide when I cam do it via a set top box. I'm just so sick and tired of changing imputs and knowing I'll miss notifications while TV imput is in use, which the apps should've also been better defined/developed for because very few spit out the notifucations we want/need on console.

They do make money from their console sales via getting people onto the ecosystem to buy gamepass and games and microtransactions/battlepasses. For the consumers who only play one or two fames they will still most likely buy stuff in those games and for people who like to experience lots of games they will make a lot of money from. Not to mention people who buy tv/movies and other forms of content through their consoles too

The specific issue with BG3 was about untethered local co-op and having insufficient VRAM for that. That is a very niche example. From memory the previous examples of devs complaining wasn’t from anyone in an engineering technical role. It could be XSS isn’t easy to develop for, but that’s different to it isn’t possible.

Hellblade 2 is one of the (if not the) best looking visual games to date on UE5 so of course it’s not going to run at high FPS especially on XSS. Starfield now runs at 60FPS on XSS and XSX. If it comes to PS5, it will be no different to XSS which also has 60FPS. DS came to Xbox and runs better on XSX than PS5 what’s your point 🤷‍♂️ If Hellblade 2 goes to PS5, it will be no different than XSX.

Not all games have co-op. Even less have local untethered co-op. In fact very few, so it’s definitely a niche example, especially when paired with the specific ambitious goals BG3 had. There are examples of games with 60FPS on XSX and 30FPS on XSS you do realise right? If you are talking about the time/cost aspect I agree they may not want/can’t invest enough time/money into optimising for both. But there’s a difference between whether it can be done or whether it’s quick and easy.

So not surprising they have a lot more Q3-4. But I shan’t complain having a blast with game pass! ~70hrs into Stalker 2 now. XSS is a very capable machine for its very low price point. It just got split screen on BG3!
