Florida's schedule is rough ... however based on competition vs team rosters Wisconsin certainly has no cake walk this season, either. These two programs may have the hardest slate. The Badgers have Alabama and USC in back to back weeks. Then from late Oct to Nov they have a stretch of Penn State, Iowa, Oregon and Nebraska before finishing with the Minnesota rivalry.

I like that the prognosticators are downplaying Wisconsin a bit this year (while still respecting them). I get it based upon last year, however, I don’t think they’re totally aware of the talent level jump this year or that although we were a 7 win team last year we literally gave away (gifted) 2 to 3 games to opponents last year in freakish kind of ways so we were razor wire away from a 9 to 10 win season.

I think it’s also the schedule. It’s much tougher than Iowa’s schedule for example.

The schedule is way tougher. Wisconsin could be significantly improved and still win 7 games
