It's all about money with Phil, he rates people and their character by how much dosh they've accumulated. I find that the richest sportsmen (and others) are extremely self centred and narcistic, they have to be to reach the pinnacle of their sport or career, not to mention greedy too, and they neglect their family, that's why many at the end of their career don't know what to do with themselves, suffer depression and end up lonely, with all the hanging on admirers and sycophants long gone, with not too many, if any true friends left. Boy it's tough at the top. 🎯 💰

adams didnt come over because he knew he wasnt good enough , taylor challenged him loads of times but he declined . he liked the attention the bdo gave him , he would of been a nobody in the pdc

I don’t think you’ll find many that agree with you there about him not being good enough, he was more than good enough, he would have won some majors for sure, when you’re surrounded by the best you raise your game, he was too comfortable and relaxed in the bdo being around players that didn’t always force him to raise his game which i think is why it took him a little longer to become the best version of himself at a later age.
