Sometimes when you are trying to answer quickly you end up doing things like that. You build everything in your brain and then mess up while speaking. It has happened to me several times during work meetings and I have to stop and go back or even ask what the heck did I say and do it again but this time going word by word focused 200% and speaking slowly. If this would have been on purpose, trust me, the overall message and the direction of the interview would have been totally different.
