This guitar reminds me of how truly great Bo Diddley was, and i have had the pleasure of meeting his family and having his great grandson play in my band, and let me tell you, that family has soul and blues running through their blood. The world lost a legend when he died. R.I.P. Bo Diddley(A MAN)!!

Bo Diddley's music is great. I don't think people realise how inspirational he was to blues/rock music. He played a big influence for the black keys, and the white stripes to say the least.

I just came from the Jon Bon Jovi concert and realized it was Phil X on stage, my mind was in a state flux, over this, I couldn't make up my mind who I was happier to see. Phil X or Bon Jovi................ it was Holy crap!!!!! That's Phil X........... Jon who? Thank you Phil X, that was an awesome performance on stage, every one was commenting on how nothing was missing from tonight's concert. You made the concert better than we expected. I got to see Phil X live.... WIN!

One of the things I love about Phil is he's not afraid to not always appear perfect. He's an awesome guitar player but sometimes as in the Zepplin song he was trying to play he didn't know all of it. He didn't edit and then show him playing it perfect but kept the footage. That makes me admire him even more !

I'm seeing Phil at 2 of these upcoming Bon Jovi concerts. It's bittersweet; Richie Sambora is basically my idol and I'm crushed I'm not going to be seeing him again this time around... but I'm excited to finally experience Phil live.

I love this axe and anything that shows interest in something other than status quo. Whatever this guy has going for himself is obviously from real committment and hard, hard work! Go Phil! If he was 20 years older with his skills, we would be doing vids on him and his stardom. Can't say enough about this guy. Never heard him say anything negative and what a great sense of humor!
@WoodesosGuitarMods11 жыл бұрын
You just reminded me of two things. I used to love The Cult and when I began to learn guitar I used to play the records over and over to learn the album. I broke 3 needles putting songs back to certain parts to figure them out. I still can't learn a song with tab, I have to listen to it over and over. It's the only way I know how. Great video!

This is Brilliant and Bo Diddly was important to rock and roll and really cool, the Bo Diddly rhythm however is a very famous rhythm mainly from South America known as the Clave rhythm. It doesn't take away from Bo Diddly's place in history but after the recognition of the roots of rock and roll, jazz etc coming from black musicians it's important to pay homage to where the roots of this rhythm came from.

Seriously guys, stop arguing about who's better - Richie and Phil are totally different in style (but both good). I'm happy that Phil is covering for Richie when he is away (no matter how long that will be). Phil brings a more heavy sound to Bon Jovi. Having said that, I hope Richie will be back soon.

Maybe i could connect to phil x more, because he was a guitarplayer surrounded by guitars that screamed to be played. All these possibilities and just a limited amount of time to discover them. I could feel and see the joy and for a moment there, i felt like a could grab anyone of those guitars and experience the thrill of discovering their sounds. Now it's like you're a guitarist showing a certain guitar with lots of equipment involved.(things in other rooms). My apologies if this seems rude.
