I have a cheap Epi SG Special, I made the humbuckers splittable, it has some kind of maple body (I guess) and a bolt on neck.. It sounds more strattier than strat itself.

Dear Fretted Americana, the band playing live at the end is amazing. You have truly raised the bar. Thank you. That is all. wait, no that is not all. The band playing live at the end is actually cruelly short. Do more with this please, even if you have to sell recordings of the performance separately. Also, I am sure the stolen guitars were insured and everything, but I really hope they get recovered and don't get destroyed or lost forever.

I never had to intonate my 1970 Melody Maker SG and It always tuned extremely well but I stupidly sold it and bought another one except it was a 1969 and it would not intonate. It would be in tune in one chord and be out of tune in another. Non of the guitar techs could intonate or fix it. I'm going to buy another one hoping I get one that will intonate. If I get one that has problems tuning how do you intonate them? Does anyone know?

Tabs are helpful when used correctly (this means, you use them to check out the correct fingerings, but you still use your ears to listen to all of the small nuances in the original version), but a lot of people close their ears when they use tabs and end up learning these "half-assed" versions of the songs. The notes are correct, but it lacks all of the stuff that made the original riff sound so cool.

That was you? Nice work, man. I don't know much about mixing but my philosophy is, if I listen to just, say, the drums, in a mix, and I can't hear 'em all properly because somethin else is overpowering, it's not a good mix. Loved it, dude. I wish the record labels agreed with me.

What I just love about Tabs on the net is the way these guys transcribe songs into THE most difficult way to play it. Absolute bitch chords you need to dislocate digits to play. And then you watch a vid of the original artist and he's playing all bar chords, just like you suspected!
